m+s have a set route out of york,he must of follow his sat nav instead, even when he got to the bar he could of turned left onto toft green with no problemthere is no left on to toft green from where he was. to get to toft green he would of had to turn right on to bar lane first but there is a sign there for no right turn after the bar but it could be read as if there is no right turn on to bar lane prior to the bar. either way he should of stopped and assessed the situation prior to going forward. also there is no M&S on that side of the river so why he chose that route is a mystery.
ok i meant turn right 
no restriction into turning into toft green (my workshop used to be on that street)
