I have to say this is one of the funniest threads I have read in ages. It’s had me in stitches.
You guys don’t half know how to turn a thread around!
Hope you enjoy your BMW Dieseldog, I love my 330d touring, it’s a great car.

its a practised art mastered over many years.it has to be performed a such a high speed that the only way you would be able to see it on video if it was taken by one of david attenboroughs cameras that can show you a hummingbirds wings flapping in slo motion.
there is always a h&s issue whereas spontanious combustion is a high possibility hence the need for a full f1 fireproof suit to be worn.(obviously with a zip fly)

if ayone noticed a lunatic in a blue bmw estate driving nothbound on the m6,and then heading for stranraer on the a75 on wedensday evening at speeds well in excess of 100mph,then …it was me…i just bought it in liverpool,
Just got to make three points DD …
1, they are NOT estates they are tourers, Ford Mondeo do estates.
2, Bought in Liverpool so hope you did an HPI check as more than likely nicked and did it come with wheels ?
3, If going like hell for Stranrar you missed the boat cos they now sail from Carnryan.
Serious question now, what model is it cos I’ve had a few and still got two ?

You’ve got it all wrong. It was the Scottish police who,in their panic, got the destination and car type wrong. Not surprising with a description of a Mexican bandit wearing a large sombrero, playing flamenco on a guitar, while driving a car possibly stolen from the Liverpool area,at 100 mph + in the direction of the Irish ferry ports.

1 unless you are pretentious and up your own ■■■…then bmw can call them what they like, but they are estate cars…( though to be fair, when im punting them on,i call them tourers in the ads)…
2 the reason I was on the cruise at over 100 was due to the fact than it had wheels on to start with, hence the need not to slow down in scouseland in case they went missing at sub sonic speeds.
3 its the ones that buy cars from me that need to worry about if there on vcar or not…if they don’t know what vcar stands for, then they get told Very Clean And Reliable…cat d don’t show up on a v5…and nothing shows once its onto northern plates…though no and again a cat c does…always remembering due to the timewarp conditions over here, then its not only in winter that the clocks go back…
4…we know they all sail for the cairn, but remember this is a site where your average cannon fodder agency limper also reads and theve more chance of having heard of stranraer…
5 and if its diesel, and preferably auto, then il always buy it at the right dosh…
Thread of the year contender right here! Cheered me right up after a ■■■■■■ day.

Recently got a 6 speed manual 530D and sometimes going up thru the box get to forth or fifth and then forget the last one or two gears so not sure if I like it as much as my old auto or not

you only have 2 feet…you dont need 3 pedals.

Not sure about a BMW, but 5th gear is a waste of space in my Audi, I’d rather have a 7th gear for lower RPM cruising!
