Lukasz Urban. We will remember you

Look at meeeee. Look how compassionate I am.

:unamused:

Fella, you have proved before that you are one of the permanently angry bell-ends that infest the haulage industry. No need to demonstrate it to us yet again.

RIP to the Polish driver.

Look at meeeee. Look how compassionate I am.

:unamused:

While you obviously have no compassion at all. :smiling_imp:

The way this Polish driver, Lukasz, died has hit home with a lot of of truck drivers across Europe if my facebook page is anything to go by.
although maybe not with the ones that think they’re super smart, but only manage to show what a moron they really are, :unamused:

RIP Lukasz Urban. :frowning:

R.I.P shocking news :frowning:

While a lot of us knock the east European drivers, especially the Poles, the majority are doing the same job as us, putting bread on the table!
If you read your history, you will see that the Poles have fought side by side with us in conflicts like WW2, where I believe there was a Spitfire squadron of Polish pilots.
I went to a local cemetery yesterday to pay my respects to a member of my Regiment that died in the Irish troubles, and close by was a grave to a Pole who died in 1943 fighting on our side.
This sort of tragedy should bring us together, he was our brother!
RIP Lukasz. God be with his family at this sad time.

not only polish spitfire squdrons there soldiers faought alongside us in the desert in italy especialy at monte casino they fought on dady and were heavily involved and suffered grievous loses at Arnham and we treated many of them very badly after the war just to keep uncle joe stalin happy to our eternal shame

R.I.P. Lukasz.

It’s a big jump from rightly expressing support for the poor driver and his family in this case to connecting it with historic or present day geopolitics.

by dd.

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere today that they think Lukasz was still alive when the truck entered the market and he managed to get the vehicle to stop by wrestling with the hijacker in the cab - who promptly shot him in the head.

Brave, brave man and I hope that in some way he will have some kind of recognition for this, a memorial or something.

For God’s sake Carryfast, you’ve already got a thread to spout this crap, don’t try and hijack this thread too. It’s clearly meant as a tribute to this driver, not about the whys and wherefores

Well said pal.

Curryfart go and spout your ■■■■■ elsewere.

Carryfast and his mentally-unstable, Wikipedia-based babbling are well overdue a time-out. Every thread that has a whiff of politics, immigration, the EU, terrorism or a variety of other topics that he can research quickly via Google become infested with his crap and a stop wants putting to it.

Your first sentence is irrelevant after you went off on yet another stream of consciousness. Why in God’s name you feel the need to have the same debate over and over on two different threads is totally beyond me. Is your life really that empty?

I think we know the answer to that  I mean there only so many hours a day you can spend polishing an Allegro.

Exactly. Its because most others can make comments without it turning into a ridiculous full on thread high jack, as is your M.O

Christ CF, give it a rest. This thread is about a working bloke who has ended up losing his life in dreadful circumstances along with numerous innocent folk shopping.

Not everyone gets a hard on over politics. A bit of decorum and tact is required.

Look it up on Wiki/Google and leave this thread be.

The OP clearly started this thread as a tribute to Lukasz Urban, lets see if we can keep keep it on topic and respectful shall we.
