I have one on my truck, unfortunately not every other truck in the fleet has one so we still end up with grease getting everywhere, and because there are no grease wells it just squeezes the black stuff out

I’ve gone for teflon plates on my new motor I’ll let you know how they perform

Ive had them fitted to all four artics. They are very good.BUT you have to be very very carefull when dropping and picking the trailer.
1 trailer has had 4 lubeliners fitted in the last 3 years, for some reason it gets cought sometimes when dropping and pulls it off.
hope that is of help.

I enquired about having a Dougherty lube liner fitted,So I rang their “agent” in Purfleet and they told me in the 5 years he had worked there they had never sold/fitted one :open_mouth:

This didn’t instal a lot of confidence in the product :unamused:

THE idea from this equipment is good but only benifits those whose combination stays together for very long periods,as some one has all ready pointed out you have to be carefull when you drop off and when you take a new trailer as these TEFLON ADDITIONS are easy to damage when you are not carefull.

Last I knew it was on their JSK37C Cast fifth wheel, they did not offer a version for their standard 36D pressed fifth wheel

Mine is a GF+ George Fischer plate with a teflon bush inside the jaws too. these are the ones that shatter if you dont take care coupling up,

Yes! There he was in full drag, trying to pull someone’s bling bling spotlights off their cab! :open_mouth: With his bare hands! :open_mouth: Well you can imagine the sight. Especially since he was trying for the top row. :open_mouth: But then he gave up on that, and started to pop them, one by one, with one of his high heels. (Don’t know how he got up there in the first place with them on.) Make a hell of a noise.

I thought, “Honestly, is this really the right time…?” :unamused:
