Job Description:
Role: Warehouse Operative (Days)
Location: Southampton
Hours per week: 37 hours per week - Monday 09:00-18:30, Tuesday & Wednesday 07:00-17:00 and Thursday 09:00-18:30
Position: LGV driver (C,C1+E,C+E)
Duties: Moving various goods around the UK on a 5 nights out 2 nights home basis. Legal maximum hours per week of 48 paid.
ADR would be an advantage, as the job involves carrying dangerous loads on a frequent basis.
Wages: £6.21ph
Benefits: Shiny new 61 plate vehicles, cigerette lighter already removed, disabled 12v power supply (H&S reasons)
Dog Basket on top bunk, J Cloths and Mould Remover spray already present in overhead locker.
Extended career option from age 67 to 75 on request. Night Out money at competetive rate of £25 per night tax free.
Deductions:
Employed on SE basis with company happy to deduct equivalent NIC and income tax from you on a W1/M1 basis. Charge £27per week
Deduction for cab hire (sleeper) £9per day Deduction for cleaning materials £2per day Dog basket hire £3per day (rebate of £1per day if you
have no dog.)
Fuel Deduction for filling up any any pump advertised price more than 1.0p/litre in the area. Must use Repsol filling stations.
Mileage charge for driving to fuel station outside current location - 45p/mile. All deductions taken from tax free pay.
Location: Watford Gap (North)
Candidate Sought: Must be claiming UB for long enough to have this job offered to them via the “take it or lose it” basis.
