Morning, new poster here. Just interested to find out people’s thoughts on Lowe’s Transport Manager’s and Operator’s Handbook - how useful it is, how often you refer to it, whether you would buy the new edition every year?
Alternatively what else do you use for checking rules and regs and keeping up-to-date with changes?
It’s THE bible for every TM & operator. Don’t know if it still applies, but it used to be that, if you signed up for them, annual updates were a lot cheaper than buying the latest edition every year.

Are you advertising something because you asked the exact same question on Linked In?

How much is your book?
I haven’t got a book to sell, honest!
The reason for the question here (and in the group on LinkedIn) is because I work for a advertising agency that handles publication of O-Licence applications in newspapers. I’m not promoting my firm here or there in any way though - just trying to work out with some advice from the right people where we might realistically advertise our services to get some response from transport managers and operators.
Overall the responses seem to be fairly equally split between Lowe’s and the FTA handbook which gives us a decision to make - thanks to everyone who responded!
