I think Mr Happy has given me my answer,I could go other routes and indeed would but the fact that there is a diversion right on the doorstep sorts it.
I go into the Smithfield from the M1 and other drops may or may not include Covent Garden,Peckham,Southall,Deptford,Chelmsford,Enfield,Stansted and some of these have time restrictions to tip so going around the M25 and taking the most direct route in would run me out of time before I start.The one consolation is that most of it is through the night and on the night permit so direct routes it is as traffic aint as bad as it is in the day.
