Hi, i know things like this have been posted before but not sure how to find it. I drive artics in & around heathrow airport at the moment but im relocating to bristol for personal reasons. I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to download low bridge info onto a tomtom 1 satnav so i can use my satnav along with a truckers map to find my way around as i dont know bristol at all. Any help would be appreciated, many thanks.
Yeah you can used to find it really handy before my tomtom got nicked out the truck whilst on a loading bay !
Can buy them from the site that does it, or can find it for free on sites of bad repute
Even better they do a free one now on the TomTom site. If you have your TomTom on the comp it will automatically go to the website and have a look for upgrades and ask you if you want to join Mapshare, Do it. I have and you have a load of options in the POI section - one of them being low bridges. I already had a low bridge on mine but this one is great and tells you when you are near one even if its a few yards of route (just in case you turn by mistake i think). I installled it to mine on Tuesday and its pukka
Thanks guys for the replies, i will have a look. Thanks again i appreciate the help
I kinda bought the CD Rom for TomTom from Lowbridges for £18.99 but the TomTom was faulty so i took it back and swapped it for Navman. I will sell the CD for £15 posted if anyones interested.
