Lost the will to live at Tesco Magor

On Monday came here they forgot about my load for nearly 3 hours. Then tonight after 2.5 hours I politely ask how long. ‘Well how long is a piece of string drive’.
I need job or an Ak47 :grimacing:

know the feeling been in similar situations before, why people today have to make other peoples lives harder I shell never know :exclamation: :unamused:

I used too let it out, now I just think to my self I’m gonna be shagging my gorgeous young missus when I get back and that ■■■■■ going to be all alone doing you know what

gets me through them days

Twice the length from the middle, that’s how you answer how long is a piece of string. Always confuses people. Intresting that Tesco staff seem to consider the warehouse a complicated and unpredictable place, not sure Tesco want it to be unpredictable!

I was 1 hr late there once cos of accident on bridge and they keep you as punishment , they treat you like naughty schoolkids. If you are late then why can’t they hurry it all along to help you out not flippin hold you up even
more. :frowning:

Used to go to that dump regular, ignorant cretins the lot of them. One of their regular tricks was to reject a pallet of beer after they had taken one pack out of the middle and re-stacked it hoping you wouldn’t notice until one rather large driver had the guy by the throat about it because they insisted he signed for a returned pallet and he wouldn’t as he hadn’t got a complete pallet, the loader soon admitted where it was hidden and the result? The driver was banned but nothing done to the warehouse guy who was trying to steal stuff. One week you could use the canteen, the next week you couldn’t. Why do RDC staff have to be so obnoxious, is there some secret league going on that we don’t know about?

One thing that really ■■■■■■ them off is to say to them

“keys and paperwork please…I’m pulling out”
I did that when they wanted me to restack 2 pallets of sweets (I’d brought the trailer from Magor services) I refused and said that infamous line.

The chaos that ensued, Goods in who had been a little hitler up to that point had to contact his manager for “permission” to let me out :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Which one though as there is the trunking station which whenever i’ve been in there are as good as gold, then there’s the dry goods one the other side of the road which at times can be a pain in the ■■■

It’s most definately the drygoods side!! They take way too long to tip IMHO!!
I mean! How much busier is Magor than say Purfleet? They hate Stobarts with a passion but most lads tipping there are Trampers so don’t mind the wait!! And this ■■■■■■ them off big time :grimacing:

Never been to the dry side but always in and out of the trunking station within an hour, was 2 hours late for my booking time once and they still tipped me straight away. :open_mouth: The tv in the drivers waiting room always seems to be on the dating channel tho

nearly 2 years ago, i went into Tesco Magor with a 40’ palletwide container full of wine, was 18 hours early, they put me straight on a bay, took me about 15 mins to open the doors, they were very stiff, 10 mins for them to tip it, and 15 mins for me to close the doors again

can’t really see where the problem is

but, i do know of some people that complain all the time when they go in there, they always seem to be there for a while, hmmmm, dunno why :unamused: :unamused:

argos bridgewater dont like work either… they seem to turn down containers on health and safety grounds… beacause… the container is full!!! :unamused: must be somat in the bristol channel they all drinking

At Robert Wisemans you’re booked in for 2pm but dont turn up until 3pm and they still take over an hour to load you. Yet when me and my dad had to unload ourselves at Bristol it took 10 mins and we reloaded ourselves in 20 mins and were gone

I was in the dry goods warehouse. I know you can be delayed at places which is bad enough but to take the pee out of me is another thing.
They did keep mentioning my bay number as an ‘outsider’ and doing the stobies around me is thus normal. Not too bothered about the time apart from the coffee machine was broke on Tuesday with a note on it. ‘an engineer has been called’. Well it was then Sunday and he had still not arrived. Rant over but one more point the stobarts drivers in there were a nice but of lads. Must be the ones with keyboards are the pains (Tongue in cheek) :grimacing:

Sounds like it hasnt changed much since i last tipped there (about 2005  ) Used to go there at least once a week for Kraft foods, always at least 2.5/3 hours turnround but the best was the night i rolled up with a mixed load of 74 pallets :open_mouth: the look on the goods in clerks face was worth a million dollars,it took them 5 hours to check it off

last friday, turned up at polestar sheffield at 7.00am for a 8.00am load.left there at 5.15pm.i was out of duty time at 5.00pm but told in no uncertain terms that load had to be back in our yard that night…c@@t

“Sorry drive your late - don’t know when we can tip you”
" Great I’ve been driving all night and am really tired . Can you show me were to park and I’ll get my head down for a few hours while I’m waiting?"
Drive and park as far away from the bays as you can. Pull the curtians round and get the paper out . I’ll put money on your door gets knocked in 5 minutes cos they think it will annoy you

I used to go in there for Turners on agency, and have to say that I rather relied on the 2-4 hours tipping time to get me head down, until that time when they said the rules changed and you have to wait in the ‘waiting room’

They’d be sending someone to take the motor over if it were me, and paying for some accommodation.

Back there again now. Just been told warehouse staff are on a go slow…let’s see if it’s noticeable :grimacing:
ps the coffee machine engineer still not been and male toilet doesn’t flush
