Logged on tonight with some difficulty and clicked on my favourites…NOTHING! All gone! Any ideas what’s happened and can I get them back (can’t remember them all!)

In my experience, with AOL, favourites seem to be stored at the Service Provider. Whenever I’ve had to reconfigure or reload the software, the favourites have appeared within about 30 mins or so. As has the email directory.
Are you maintaining your machine? Downloading something like AdAware and running that?
Sorry to be ‘an old nag’ but losing your favourites (or emails/address book) is such a pain in the arse!! The first time it happens should be enough of a reminder to do regular back-ups! (I learned the hard way too! )
If you use Outlook you are looking for File-Import/Export-Export ot PST File to back-up. Use Import PST File if you loose them or re-format etc.
Favourites (for IE) can be found by browsing your system with WE. If you need more precise instructions, just ask.
