Yes you do a vehicle printout at the start and end of every shift.
Exactly how you do the printout will depend on the sort of tachograph, on a Siemens tachograph press OK to get to the main menu which will show “Printout Driver 1”, use the arrow keys to scroll down to “Printout Vehicle”, press the OK button to accept a 24 hour printout, check the flashing date is correct then press OK again.
You have 7 days to report the card lost and can drive for 15 days without a driver card.
