Asking this on behalf of somebody who took and passed his CPC under the old RSA system in 1980, before OCRS took over.
He has lost his certificate and he is one of the many people whose records were “lost” when the transfer took place.
Is there any way round this? I seem to remember that somebody managed to resolve this and get re-issued with a certificate, or am I imagining that?
I asked about this a few months ago Harry, but I managed to find a copy of my certificate in amongst some old paperwork.
He needs to contact the original place where he took the exam with the approx date, then hopefully they will come up with a copy certificate.
did mine in 1979 put it in a frame for safe keeping.think you will struggle to get new one…

Harry, I do know that some people have managed to get their status verified so your recollection is accurate, but the stress is on the enquirer knowing/remembering as much info as possible.
