Hi lads what’s happen to the data
That was on the card anybody know
Cut it up into small pieces making sure to cut through the chip, then put it in next doors bin, when VOSA / DVSA come knocking you’ll still be able to say you lost it 
The data will just stay on the card I’d suppose.

If you’ve lost the card then don’t worry about it, it’s gone.
Unless someone that finds the card goes to the trouble of forwarding it to the DVLA/DVSA of course…
Nobody will find it, OP will have made sure of that by doing a thorough job of “losing” it.
So what made you want to “lose” your card, OP?
Whatever it was is still on the tacho head you know.
Still in the head(s), and in the downloaded data from your card and the VU(s).
Don’t worry, your employer can still retrieve your infringements off the vu and he has a year or more to do it
also the data stays on the card unless you microwave it…
