Only happened the once another driver was just about to do it one day when a policeman came along sympathized with but wouldn’t let him carry on

I always found that the best way of getting cars moved was to go to reception etc and ask the owners to come and inspect the damage I had just done to their cars.
Usually worked quickly.

One of our drivers saw a car lifted by a telehandler that was parked opposite a site entrance, the forks damaged the chassis so be careful or make sure there a no witnesses if you try the same trick.
I’m normally a fairly laid back sort, not much winds me up but… got to a site at 12.55 to be told that they go for dinner at 1 o’clock and I’d be tipped when they got back. I pointed out that it was only 5 to, and I’d be tipped and out again before 1. I had had a break and really did not have half an hour to waste waiting for them to come back. I tried the ‘if you don’t want the load, I’ll take it back to the quarry’ tactic, to be told do what you ■■■■■■ well like with it but you’re not coming on site until we get back from dinner. They locked the gate and disappeared off in their van.
I’d love to have seen their faces when they returned to find 16 tonnes of 803 tipped up against the gate, and no machine on site to move it
It’s the one and only time I’ve been brave enough to do it, very satisfying feeling

Why do so many sites not accept deliveries at breaktime? All they have to do is show you where to tip, sign the ticket and they can leave you to it. I like to get my own back by having an extended break when I know they’re desperate for material.
When one refers to themselves as one, they should be bullied - head down toilet etc

One is welcome to attempt said act, if one would care to come out from under ones’ bridge.

Ideally you don’t want to lift it any higher than a few inches so if it slides on the forks, which they will very easily, it slides away from the machine. If it hits the back of the forks even gently it’ll put the doors in, if it damages the B pillar it’ll probably be a write off. Never done it in anger but have moved wrecks around a yard.
It would be slow but I reckon lifting a small amount and using sideshift to move it would be the lowest odds of damage.
I’ve only lost my rag at work a couple of times, when I do it really, really disappoints me.
When I was younger I got in a lot of trouble because of my short temper, went through a phase of getting ABH charges
These days I walk away and take time to calm down before I start windmilling.
Was tipping down a single lane street in Manchester, the site was round a right angle corner. Backed in and round the corner.
Drove back up the road to find some prick had parked right on the corner, I couldn’t get back out.
Spent 20 mins walking in and out of different units/offices looking for the driver, but no-one knew whose it was.
The car was parked at right angles to me, I just T boned it, pushed it straight sideways off the road.
I shoved it onto the path, but as I did I couldn’t help but notice, the car (now on the path) would be a perfec fit between a container and the end of a building, if I pushed it a bit further.
I had made enough room to get through, but thought ‘■■■■ it, in for a penny in for a pound’.
So pushed it some more into the gap. Had about 3 inch clearance each end. Would loved to have seen how they got it out
Another, a ■■■■ in a Fiesta cut me up running up the sliproad into the services.
Had a little altercation. Then the cab phone rang.
Gaffer: Whats happened, there’s a guy in a fiesta says you’ve hit him.
Me: Aye.
Gaffer: How much damage is there, is the car a write off, is the truck ok, can you drive it back?
Me: ZB all wrong with the truck or the car. It’s his face I’ve hit. That’s quite a mess.
Click. Brrrrrrr…
I remember 2 different tales of this sort from here on TN over the years. I wonder if the OP’s are still around?
-
Driver did a semi regular delivery to a place where the entrance was off a narrow street. Could usually get in with care, but to get out, often had to get cars moved. These were often the same cars.
After numerous instances of having to get the same cars moved, at around the same time, on the same day of the week, one day he was having an “off” day & just carried on, allowing the trailer wheels to run over a couple of cars. -
Crane lorry driver about to unload packs of blocks onto a car park when a suit turns up & parks his Beemer exactly where the blocks needed to be. Climbs down & asks the suit politely not to park there pointing out the reason why. Suit just looks at him & walks away.
Driver continues to crane off building a nice continuous wall all around said Beemer.
Good on you Baz mate
Another one what works is say “gotta get to next supermarket by 10.30 if this load is late you gotta explain to the supermarket and my boss why it is” sometimes works

If I tried that, I’m in no doubt that after an all round inspection by the owner I’d be held responsible for every single mark, scuff and dent on the entire vehicle, despite not even actually entering the yard!
Fed up with spaces being now occupied by inconsiderate car drivers are we?
Let’s see how old some of you lot are…

Works every time… just relay that you think it probably isn’t quite a write off …and they’ll be out at Olympic sprint speed…
