Just in Case anyone is really interested in Folkestone!!
Overnight Parking is available at Folkestone for £10 and is available all week. There are showers and toilets and snack and coffee area but not the greatest.
Get there early on Sunday as the port fills up very quickly for obvious reasons, the Harbour Pub 2 mins walk from where you park is the drivers haunt with a very good Sunday Roast available for about 7 quid and reasonably priced beer (live Jazz at 3pm on Sundays) !!
If you don’t fancy a pub there are lots of Cafe’s and Chip shops etc within 5 mins walk so its good from that perspective. My favourite Cafe to use is underneath the Railway arches behind the George Pub.
Word of Warning Always inspect your trailer both inside and underneath as Folkestone locals stow away especially on Eastern European units as they try to escape to Romania etc. for a better way of life!!

You forgot the important bit
Come of at the junction after the eurotunnel sthbound and just follow the harbour signs.
And the hotel opposite the park has a good sauna/gym which you can use for a small fee.
…And the telly reception is excellent, 40+ channels on my laptop

yes, last time i was in folkestone i remembered it as worksop with a harbour.
Right well it would have been the docks…But as always plans change and we met up in maidstone services instead to do the changeover so it saved me a couple miles (the other driver came through the tunnel as i half expected)
and what was up with the 25 yesterday both ways…
Cant wait to go back on nights…
Had a nice truck though 04 plate Daf XF with air con pod, built in VDO sat nav, smoke alarms, ether alarms, protek-dors (+ the full window ones) Just the kit for european work .I did inquire but we (me and the wife) dont want me to be out for three weeks and then only have a weekend off.
who was the job for.
