Yes a ■■■■■■■ lot

The load must have shifted
It has now, onto the floor.
Looks like were you come of the roundabout outside gate 2, and head up past the BP garage.
20’ box on the back, they can be a bit less stable than a 40’, IMO.
Best wishes to the Driver for a full recovery.
Blimey just after the shift change. Could have been nasty as there’s usually loads of cars flying up the inside from the dock exit. With the right lane needed further up it’s pointless putting manners on the buggers unless the bp garage is needed. (It’s a road layout thing, dock regulars will know what I mean).
Obviously it’s nasty enough for the driver who hopefully makes a full recovery.
dont know why the doors is open though…the window look a good place to escape from.
I must say that this is a regular occurrance…maybe if a driver was allowed to look in the back of containers to see how its been loaded might help, or at least a load plan by the exporters, so a driver can tell how its been loaded…ie top heavy…its a nightmare when you havnt loaded it yourself.
Get well soon Drive

The driver never got off the roundabout, he is half way round it, and the quick left and right will have any load stable or unstable over if taken at an inappropriate speed, that roundabout is the load tester and shouldn’t be taken at speed, but plenty do and pay the price.
Another one of theirs did the same thing a few years ago on the same roundabout.
I’d be interested to know how they managed to get a head injury from this, I can’t see anything hitting them there, the only thing I can think of is not wearing seatbelt and falling 7-8ft onto the floor.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, but I thought I’d give Him the benefit off the doubt, until it was confirmed, But I cant disagree with anything you’ve written. I did notice the scuff marks this morning.
As I said the 20’ tend to be heavy and IMO less stable than a 40’, but you get to understand this, and drive accordingly, that’s why we’re called professionals.
IIRC GMA had one roll over at the Copdock roundabout a few years back too, though that was a curtainsider I think.

Remember if it is not nailed down when you roll over its on the move.
GMA employ 95% flipflops so there is nothing surprising here. Just another day for them.
