Seconded.

They take you to a disused airfield in Honiton and you get to drive round forwards and reverse.

Looks good but abit far from essex tho, thats the best one ive seen so far, aswell as the PF training day but abit to long to wait really.

Robbo is a proper driver from back in the day. Very good at what he does and a reasonable price for an excellent service. All the trainers there are top notch.

May think about combining it with a little weekend break down there to make the drive there worth while.

Surprised no-one else has mentioned it. I’ve been to a couple when different places I’ve been on for have sent vehicles (as a driver, not a lady before anyone starts :stuck_out_tongue: )

Post a picture of her, if she’s half tidy you may get a few volunteers who’ll give her a ride

Can’t she just drive your lorry.

Your wife can get in touch with any driver training schools to get an assesment. My wife’s club recommends E.P.Training Services.

She can only have an assessment if she has provisional entitlement for a C or CE hence the option of birthday surprise which is done off road.

Surely getting up at silly-o’clock and doing Dartford / M25 / M3 / A303 and then back again, all for an hour’s visit to Exeter is a realistic part of the trucker’s experience? You can even roll/crash at one end or the other of the Illminster bypass if you want to make it absolutely genuine.

She’ll love you all the more for it, I promise.

A romantic weekend in Devon would be horribly cliché.
