So last night i went up to the place i have been going a few times on my own with a loaded trailer that i have to drop then pick up another trailer and deliver the contents on the way back.
So last night i get to the yard where i drop the trailer and the office tell me that i need to go round to this other company (5 mins away) and pick up a trailer there. I get there no security gate nothing. But there is my trailer spent 5 mins walking round trying to find someone to tell them i am there and that i was taking the trailer couldnt find anyone so decided to hook up. As im reversing back i heard a bang so me being a newbie panicked a little thinking i had hit somthing. got out looked round the unit couldnt see anything as i turn round i can see flames comeing from the garden of the house the other side of the fence. this is 1 am so i shout out no answer grab the fire extinguisher and try find a way though. another big bang and shed fence and tree is on fire so got on the blower to 999.
Usless person on the phone but the fire service did turn up promptly

I remember the newbie paranoia! Trying to casually look around for the damage but without anybody else noticing

When looking for damage …get out as if stretching legs walking around the truck and looking out of the corner of your eye you could kick the ground a little bit just to add to the effect
