no surprise there then.
as soon as woody and him were nabbed then they would be held incommunicado for as long as possible so that they would spill the beans without their family ect being able to contact them as thats the first line of defence of those up the ladder.
the fact that it seems to have been a bit late only shows how quickly the were isolated as they will surely keep quiet not that the messages have been passed.
the next thing will be the bullet with the name on it,the pipe bomb on the window sill and statements withdrawn .
if they play ball, then their families will get wages every week with the cash bonus on release day.

id imagine the truck will be tucked away till the trial which might be in about 3 years time assuming they find the bros in the 1st place, and also the trailer which is rented will be kept as a matter of principal seeing as there will be £ 100 per week rental money building up till its returned to the rental company which will be owed by the hughes bros.
budget in a good respray and buy yourself a proper piece of plant at the police auctions immediately after the trial though probably to appear as if they care, then plod will insist on it going through as a class b and thatl be the end of that.

I’ve a feeling you’ll never see that unit and probably trailer on the road ever again. You only have to look at all the trucks wasting away in compounds all over Europe including UK to realise that.

The blue Range Rover the Essex drug dealers got massacred in belonged to a finance company. They got it back eventually complete with blood stains and skull fragments still inside. I think they put it on eBay in as is condition or something similar someone gave it a thorough valet and it went back on the road.

Was still on the road up to 2009

That’s right you can!
How do you explain to a judge or a traffic commissioner that you didn’t check the load security or legality of load. If for example you had caused death or injury on the public highway.
Ever wondered why containers roll over!
Just because pointy shoe clerks tell you that you can’t check your loads before departure doesn’t mean it’s true, maybe grow a set!

I’ve never said you can break a seal at anytime, sometimes authorities will have to aid you, especially with bonded loads.
Show me where I said you can break seals at “Anytime”

On container work, the container is the load, and the driver’s responsibility ends with ensuring that it is correctly locked to the trailer. The shipper’s obligation to the consignee is to ensure that the container arrives at the named place with the original seal (or HMRC replacement seal if examined) intact. In any event, a very substantial set of bolt croppers is required to remove a container seal.

Iguyovwe Ogheneruona, prosecuting.

Three times I’ve tried to pronounce that name and now my bloody furniture is floating! Help.

I think it’s pronounced ‘ I gave you Gonorrhoea ‘

It’s pronounced
Iguyovwe Ogheneruona

That’s easy for you to say

that was a while ago when things were a bit more normal and less ott pc than nowadays.
the essex mob were brits, scumbag criminals, but brits.
the fact this lot are illegals, then it will end up like 39 state funerals for the pope to satisfy the media and the snowflakes.
if someone told plod to look at their toes with their hands clasped in front of them as the truck went past and we have staged pics of plod and boris signing a book of condolences then its not hard to see what way its going to go with the uk once again footing the bill for someone elses problem.
would it be unreasonable to say that if they were all illegal criminals and the families have said they paid between £30 and £40 grand which has been returned by the snakeheads, then it might be prudent to nab it from them and put it towards the cost of the clear up?
that would be a million pounds off the bill for a start.

I’m glad someone else noticed the police with heads bowed when trailer got taken away. Virtue signalling at the highest order. Half expected to see Lineker at the scene

well someone from higher up the plod chain of command obviously said to plod to look as if you give a toss ,clasp your hands and check out your toes looking as humble as you can so the media ( who were frantically milling around taking pictures) and everyone else watching can see how much we care about 39 dead foreign criminals in the back of a fridge.
the next thing was the staged pictures of a police wifey signing the book of condolences while a normal plod looked on meaningfully, then boris johnston has to do the book a few days later.
i wouldnt know who they are trying to put on a show for,but it beggars belief that every single plod having to go through the motions for the cameras were of a similar opinion to what was in the fridge.
i read elsewhere that its now the fault of the uk for having whats meant to be strict border controls compared to the rest of europe that forces these " poor desperate foreigners " to take such risks to illegally enter britain…you couldnt make it up.

totally agree dd all the do gooders saying our fault for trying to control immigration. They are trying to say relax immigration and let every poor soul from poor regions of Vietnam come here. What happens then many more poor areas of UK living either of Black economy or benefits … Please with respect to those perished they were acting illegally as there family’s admit. Let’s stop making this country a soft touch. If they come make them pay for any health care we do with our NI. Time to make our borders stronger and deal with the wrong doers. Our authorities know who they are but darent react because of the snowflake Brigade who cry human rights. Bothered our our rights when we pay all our life for benifits that are being eroded by these scum coming here

if the poor people of vietnam can pay £20 or £30 thousand quid a pop to trafficking criminals to fastrack an illegal into the uk,then i would love to know how much middle class and upper class viets are worth.

I’d like to think that the police in West Yorkshire or any other region who massively failed the victims of grooming gangs were looking down too. Not in reverence but in shame!

They have stepped up security at purfleet, they are checking a lot more flat bed trailers going in to the dock emty

A similar scenario with that burned out tower block, all very sad tragic and all the rest of it, but word on the street was at least a third of the tenants were there illegally, but more sympathy and particularly media attention was given for months after, more so than those poor kids who were bombed in Manchester by that terrorist ■■■■■■■■■■■■■.

Now Rees Mogg is being given stick for saying common sense should have told them that when a building is burning …to get to ■■■■ out of it…seriously?? :open_mouth:

Too much liberal minded crap prevails in this country, over common sense free speech, and talking sense.
Most stuff that is termed ‘‘Offensive’’ by those offended by proxy, equates to what the majority of people actually think but mostly do not express. :bulb:

For them, it’s like us buying a house…it takes 20 years of graft to pay off.

And if you fail to keep up the payments then the asset (your relative) is taken off you!

It happens that the UK is a favourite destination because the UK govt is very unusual across the world in not having universal ID cards, and it has a health service which is pretty much open to all with few questions asked. I remember a few years ago there was a figure quoted for the population of Peterborough, but if you added up all the patients registered to Peterborough GPs it came to considerably more.

In Africa, small farmers are selling their land to middlement for the price of a passage to the UK. The middleman parcel the land up and sell it to the Chinese Govt.

The Chinese get a depopulated African empire, bought & paid for, without firing a shot. The lucky old UK gets to house and feed the former African farmers, educate their children and so on.

It will get worse after Brexit, too.

It’s a brilliant move by the Chinese. I bet Cecil Rhodes would have done it if he’d have thought of it.

Most of the issues are real in one way or another but TBH this sounds like the worst sort of alarmist ■■■■■■■■.

So, do you believe everything you “hear on the street”?
Or, choose what to believe and what to doubt?

nationalfirechiefs.org.uk/Stay-Put-position
With the benefit of hindsight in the Grenfell case it would have been better for more to have evacuated earlier.
But without knowledge of the inflammable cladding the previous best advice was to stay put. Leaving an insulated flat, in a compartmentalised block to walk down the only stair case towards a source of fire, smoke and deadly fumes doesn`t seem very “common sense” to the National Fire Chiefs.
Of course their advice is based on the belief that buildings conform to the law and building standards. And on years of study and experience. But maybe Rees-Mogg with his degree in history has a better understanding of these things?

So are you saying if you were in that tower you’d have stayed put?

TheYoungTrucker:

+1
what happened to the firemans quote of…" get out…stay out".
was that not always the best advice in the event of a fire??
if it was me then there would have been more smoke coming from the soles of my trainers than what was coming out of the windows…id imagine it was good news to the illegals there as they wouldnt have to come out and be counted/identified ect.

TheYoungTrucker:

Hind sight is a truly marvelous thing…as Rees Mogg demonstrated.
In the majority or cases the Fire Chiefs advice to stay put is the best advice. Stay in a compartmentalised flat whilst a fire is extinguished is better than joining crowds of others in a smoke and fume filled stairwell, dashing towards the fire and with the exit blocked by fire-fighters coming up to tackle the fire doesnt seem "common sense" to me. With hindsight we now know that the flats werent compartmentalised, so with that level of knowledge I wouldnt have stayed put....with that knowledge I wouldnt have been in there in the first place!
