What’s that stuck straight up on the unit chassis right in front of the trailer? It almost looks like a Tipper ram?

No wonder he crashed it then, those things do your bloody head in after a while… Tink tink tink tink…
very lucky man!
Out of interest how many units do swains run? Whenever our building work goes slack I have to take all the office bods cars to the garage next door to their yard for ‘maintenance’ and there always seems to be loads of trailers and no units. Just seems odd for a small company.

Lucky chap, hope he is ok, makes you wonder how this sort of accident happens.I’m sure that Teedledee and Tweedledumber from CSI Trucknet will be along later to tell us how and why it happened.
Oh wait… Nobody died so maybe they won’t.
Drivers fault !

Here’s hoping, no matter what the cause of the incident, the driver makes a full recovery.
Someone said the hole in the barrier wasn’t very big, he’s dead right isn’t he. He did well to get through that.
Bit of a brown trouser moment.
Looks like its partly loaded to me

M6 toll crash The ambulance service said the lorry driver had an “amazing” escape.A lorry has left a flyover on the M42 and crashed onto the M6 Toll.
The accident happened at Coleshill, Warwickshire, near junction T1 on the northbound carriageway of the M6 Toll just before 18:30 GMT.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said the lorry driver, a man in his 50s, had an “amazing” escape.
He was treated for serious lower leg fractures, and airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, a spokesman said.
The accident has closed the M42 northbound between junction 7A and junction 9, and the M6 Toll northbound between junction T1 and the M42.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “Miraculously there were no cars passing at the time - it would have been far worse if there had been.”
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said 1,200 litres (263 gallons) of diesel had leaked onto the carriageway after the accident.
An investigation is under way into whether another vehicle was involved on the M42, a Warwickshire police spokesman said.
The lorry was empty at the time of the crash, he added.
ok was there two accidents yesterday with vehicles falling of bridges on the m42 as they are saying on bbc news that the driver died this morning.
I was heading to bristol on the m42 when I saw a green chopper circling the motorway, this accident must have happened 10 mins before I passed through and it looked nasty. R.I.P drive condolences to his family
