I never understood why houses on main roads fetch such high prices all these years…
I bet the insurance company of the householder bleats about paying out instantly themselves… Will probably tell them to claim off the haulier, and leave them alone…
Insurance is just a money for nothing income scam to these “underwriters”. They don’t actually want to pay out in a forthright manner - ever.

Assuming that is B4114 that is going to be something of a PITA for locals. (Used to live up the road in Elmesthorpe years ago)

I used to pass this daily, it’s just after the Bumble Bee Lane turn. Was once a nice house too.
I’m assuming something happened on the bend before it, probably involving an oncoming vehicle.

Wonder if its the same Cobley Driver that I followed down Bumble Bee Lane from the A5 to the Sharnford Road.

Clearly the weight limit on that road doesn’t apply at knocking off time, or if you are a local firm :unamused:

Not sure if the woman coming the other way was thinking that though as he applied his brakes rather sharpish to avoid driving into her.

Surely it CAN’T be quicker to go BB lane than down to Smockington and right if you are in an artic…seriously?! The average speed alone would surely render it a longer route…
