Our leaders say we cant stop them but it seems like someone did about three hundred years ago, AND THEY MUST BE STOPPED AGAIN !! … Europe has apparently forgotten its history. Islam has not changed in hundreds of years, only the zeitgeist of Europeans (mostly neo-Marxists/Socialists) towards it has.
Please recall The Battle of Vienna, September 11, 1683:
“More than 300 years ago, Europe lived in fear of the great Islamic Caliphate, the invincible Ottoman Empire, that ruled a vast portion of the world and constantly threatened the heartland of Europe with attack, ■■■■■■■■■■ and destruction.
In 1683, in March of that year, yet another huge Islamic army advanced upon the west, 140,000 strong, led by the Turk Grand Vizier Kara Mustapha. The path he chose took him toward the great fortress of Vienna, which he reached on July 14 and promptly laid siege to. Vienna was well prepared to withstand a siege, but by September, after nearly two months of isolation, during which time Turkish bombs shattered some of its walls and led to a partial capture of the city by Mustapha’s troops, the situation there had grown dire.
Vienna’s capture in the immediate future was a near-certainty and beyond Vienna, the soft belly of Europe lay wide open…
“…But, something had changed. A new man had arrived. A man Europe called “The Warrior-King.” – His name was Jan Sobieski. And he came with an Army of 30,000 Polish soldiers at his back…”
The last effort that Islam made to destroy Christendom failed during the last years of the seventeenth century, just over two hundred years ago. Vienna was almost taken and it was only saved by the Christian army, under the command of the King of Poland, on a date that ought to be among the most infamous in history:
September 11, 1683.

Off topic:
Great Polish king, but tell me honestly, do you know what majority of Brits think about Poles today…it sad to frank. And not many people have herd of Sobieski, may be for the vodka, but not for the person.

Lets go back in history even further: The FIRST saviour of Europe - Tervel of Bulgaria.
The year is 717-718 AD, Constantinople, 1800-2500 arab ships and 200 000 foot soldiers besiege the city by sea and land.

On 25 May 717 Leo III the Isaurian was crowned Emperor of Byzantium. During the summer of the same year the Arabs led by Maslama ibn Abd al-Malik crossed the Dardanelles and besieged Constantinople with 200,000 men. According to Arab sources his fleet consisted of 2,500 ships.

Leo III made a plea to Tervel for help, relying on the treaty of 716 and Tervel agreed. The first clash between the Bulgarians and the Arabs ended with a Bulgarian victory. During the very first stages of the siege the Bulgarians appeared in the Muslim rear and large part of their army was destroyed and the rest were trapped. The Arabs built two trenches around their camp facing the Bulgarian army and the walls of the city. They persisted with the siege despite the severe winter with 100 days of snowfall. In the spring, the Byzantine navy destroyed the Arab fleets that had arrived with new provisions and equipment, while a Byzantine army defeated Arab reinforcements in Bithynia. Finally, in early summer the Arabs engaged the Bulgarians in battle but suffered a crushing defeat. According to Theophanes the Confessor, the Bulgarians slaughtered some 22,000 Arabs in the battle. Shortly after, the Arabs raised the siege. The Byzantine-Bulgarian victory of 718 and the victory of the Frankish king Charles Martel in the battle of Tours (732) stopped the Muslim invasion in the interior of Europe. By that Khan Tervel became one of the most respected rulers in Europe and also received an Emperor title, due to his victory.

How many Europeans or Brits know about this Bulgarians, not many raymundo, not many.

To be fair we do know that they were, for some reason, historic enemies of the Serbs and allied themselves with Turkey against Serbia in WW1. :open_mouth:   As for East Euro as I’ve said for anyone who’s familiar with Balkan history and society it’s time to forget the inconvenient bits and all pull together against the common Asian adversary. We ain’t going to do that by following Merkel’s and Cameron’s EU/Eurasian agenda. We’re going to need the friends with fences ideology of Nationalism to do it. :bulb:

On that note I’d be willing to say that I’m ashamed of the Brit government over it’s actions against Serbia regards Kosovo and Bosnia. If Serbs are willing to say that they are ashamed of their government’s actions in trying to hold on to Tito’s collapsed Yugoslav Federation rather than recognise the right to self determination of Croatia and Slovenia. While we should all be united against replacing the idea of the Nation State with an even bigger pro Islamic Federal cluster zb in the form of the EU than Tito’s was. :bulb:

Well the hatred goes back to 10th century, for piece of land, or for conquering each other. WWI alliance is because of 1885 war and Macedonia land populated with Bulgarians. Its immensley stupid when you think about it, because our nation are so freaking close.
Here(Balkans) people always will fight each other for piece of land with the help of great powers, last example is Kosovo. Why I don’t know and have no rational explanation/
US doesn’t care about Europe, think about who created the mess in the ME or in Kosovo, or in Macedonia 2001.

Well British empire did the very same think you feel ashamed of today, back in 1876-1878, when Bulgaria was fighting or independence from the ottomans. British empire sited with the ottoman one, supplied them with first grade weapons at the time, supported them politically etc.
To be fair the whole Balkan peninsula is a mess and continue to be because of the years of ottoman slavery and backwardness.
Can you imagine that when Europe was flourishing, my country was taken back to the stone age for 482 years.
In 13th century Bulgaria was the biggest economy of Eastern Europe, 80% of the people were reading and writing, then…
Well lets hope, that what happen then will not repeat today in whole of Europe. Because the only reason for us to get conquered back in 1396 AD is being divided and greedy.

To be fair US is confused because it sees Nationalism, which is the solution in this case,as a threat to the Federalism that the constitution is based on.It’s also got this stupid idea that the historic conflict between Islam v Western culture can be fixed by winning hearts and minds and forced integration which Yugoslavia for one example let alone European history proves can’t work. While ironically it’s facing exactly the same conflict now at home in its own back yard.On that note if Trump loses it’s likely to get messy over there and is probably a better explanation for Obama’s anti gun crusade. In which case it’s clear where the lines are being drawn and who is supporting who.

It’s not off topic it’s actually the point as to why we are where we are with Europe’s borders being seen as a soft touch, thereby re igniting all the old historic Islamic incursions this time also involving countries much further North.

Ironically in this case it’s the East Euro/Balkan/Asian border lands that are being fooled by the carrot of EU subsidies to leave the whole continent open as part of Merkel’s and Cameron’s etc Eurasian agenda.Which in reality is just another but much bigger version of Tito’s inter ethnic centrally ruled collectivised cluster zb of Yugoslavia. When we were in the right place with Slovenia and Croatia having gone for secession.Which just left the question of repatriating Bosnia’s etc Muslim Turkish based population back where it belonged. Not helping it to stay and thereby helping the Jihadists get a foothold in our own back yard. :unamused:

IE as I’ve said by supporting Merkel and Cameron rather than Brexit and the French FN you’re on again the wrong side.Just as we all were one way or another historically whether it be our government helping the Ottomans or yours. If you want to protect your borders you’re a Nationalist not EU Merkel supporting Socialist and as such the aim should be to smash the EU not support it. :bulb:

How does that supposedly make us ‘more secure’,as advertised by the in campaign. As opposed to less bearing in mind the example of more than 1,000 years of European history regards Islamic/Asian incursion, demographic take over and rule.

A question I have for you all is, if we leave EU that means 50% of current migrants cannot come to the UK, what will you want to do about other 50%? Leave earth?

When you say migrants, do you mean those who arrive here with a passport and other ID who travel to the uk by conventional means ie by air and by sea using a ferry (as a fare paying passenger on a coach) or the scum who decide that they can come here without any forms of ID or money and expect handouts aka(illegal immigrants)?

And if we leave the EU we could control our borders meaning we get to say who we want here, there wouldn’t not be any hard and fast rule that this would only stop 50% of them ,as it would depend on a number of factors one being what they had to offer us, ie skills, wealth, have guaranteed employment in the uk, ect ect, regardless of if they are from the EU or outside it, whilst it is accepted that we need migration it has to be tightly controlled , and the rules, laws surrounding illegal immigration and asylum need urgent reform ( in laymen’s terms massive cuts to numbers granted asylum) along with an overall of the application process , we need grater powers to deport them ASAP not months later if at all

There’s obviously no place in your world for anyone to say enough we’re full we’ve taken more than our fair share. To the point where we’ve now got around 65 million ( probably a lot more ) on an Island measuring a few hundred miles north south and east west.

Why is it only here that is considered as being habitable for the world’s population.IE why does not living here translate as not living on ‘Earth’.

Added to which Turkish EU membership and/or free movement will deliberately open Europe’s borders to a massive Asian catchment and influx.Going by historic precedent with the obvious intention of invasion and demographic takeover.

On that note it’s time to close the door and tell the pro immigration agenda and its zb wit socialist supporters to do one. It’s obvious that we can’t do that while being an EU member.

tommy t:
whilst it is accepted that we need migration

Why does a such a small Island as this with a population of around 65 million ‘need’ more immigration.Bearing in mind that the immigrants obviously have no intention of even being equally distributed across the country. It’s really time to say enough or don’t bother. :unamused:

Enough? How do you measure what is enough? When we don’t have enough council houses? When we don’t have enough nhs beds?
When we don’t have enough schools?

We’ve never had enough of those 3 things we have always been in deficit. Who says we are full and what do they measure it by? Farage? He has no access or willingness to statistics.

As for the door being shut, there is no door it’s been sold off, privatised.

Another question I would ask Brexit people.

What is farages or Boris 's motivation for leaving? Are they worried they won’t get a council house? Are they worried foreign workers will push down their hourly rate? Why do these millionaires want to leave Europe?

Farage has said in the past he wants away from these over bearing social laws from the EU. You know the ones about maximum hours in a working week maternity/paternity leave they other pesky ones sick pay and pension rules. We all hate them.

No I don’t.

Socialist thinking in action. We’ve got a problem of low wages and over population even at 50,000,000.So let’s bring in more immigrants making the figure 65,000,000 or more and adding to the labour supply that’ll solve it. :unamused:

Let’s just say that Farage and even Hoey have more sense in that regard than Cameron or zb Corbyn.Although Farage is no Le Pen.

Maximum hours like 15 hour shifts you mean and being told to drive when you’re tired or told to stop when you’re awake.Or East European minimum wage creating a situation of west euro jobs being sent to east euro or east euro workers flooding the west euro labour market. In addition to being ruled by ex stasi Socialist zb’s like Merkel and Juncker and Hollande. On that note France seems to be the latest zb Socialist utopia going pear shaped as usual. :unamused:

So because public services have been stretched since the day dot, we should just leave the doors open to anyone that wants to come in :open_mouth:

If you had no extra room in your house, would you open your doors to the homeless and support them on such a scale? Thought not. Just waiting for the “that’s completely different” speech. I wouldn’t open my doors to anyone, for multiple reasons like the wellbeing of my children, but then again, I’m not hypocritically advocating open door immigration :unamused:
