Recently my nephew gave me some pictures and surprisingly the Krupp Tiger
states both “T.I.R.” and “DOUANEVERVOER” (the latter an agreement between
Netherlands and Belgium) since the 1st (1949), the 2nd (1959) and to last TIR-
convention in 1975. The Krupp is from Transport Arendonk where my nephew
(at the left with one of the Van Steenbergen brothers) did help in the garage.

Nowadays that company still exists however no longer family-owned but part
of a large transport-consortium.
