As a trainer I am looking forward to the forthcoming changes regarding laden trucks and auto boxes.
Although every trainer has to part load their trucks it’s down to their preferred choice if they want to go auto.
At the test centre I use We had a good meeting recently with the examiners discussing how the training and examining would alter regarding loading of the trucks when the new rules are implemented ( block changing approach speed etc)
It was agreed between both parties that it’s a transitional period and we would communicate closely to start with.
Regarding the auto box I will keep my manuals for the near future.
