Looking to get a driver to drive our lorry over the harvest period July through to October. The work would be grain haulage. Where would be the best place to put an advert, what would the rate of pay be.
TIA

post your advert for a driver on this site, always someone looking for work. whereabouts are you based,is it class one or two any nights out,do you want experience etc,as for wages thrash that out with who-ever gets in touch.
good luck
£660 per week clear for 6 days, and you’ll get someone decent.
is it a sleeper cab? if it’s decent enough he could live in it for a few months.
where are you?

Look Phil, he wants someone to deliver grain, not a tipper load of cigarettes with an inch skim of grain on the top.

May seem a strange one but try the farming mags (farmers weekly, farmers guide etc). As you probably know on the grain job you want someone with a bit of a country/farming background who actually understands the job they are doing. Put someone on it that has worked on containers/store drops etc and in my opinion it aint going to work out.Just a thought.
Hi look for a selfemployed driver, many like my self look for short term contracts. It gives us varied work, and someone who you can call, that you know and can trust to do the job the way you want it done. Theres lots of us. rob
i’m a self employed guy, im reliable and cheap cheap cheap!!! lol
on a serious note tho, im just in it to make a living not a killing at the moment!
