Looking for sat nav

hello guys i’m looking to buy a new sat nav for hgv driving what is the best one i hear that snoop s900 should do the trick

I use a Chinese cheapo from evilbay, £85 delivered and seems to work fine

I use a truckmate snooper pro S7000.
Its not the cheapest on market. But in my opinion you get what you pay for.If im using it all day 5-6 days a week, its got to be reliable and worth its money.

You can put in your vehicle dimentions a nd weight and it will avoid low bridges, width restrictions and 7.5T areas. ITS not fool proof though so i still check my map to be sure.

Theres a multi-route for upto 15 drops. Pop the addresses in an
d the snooper will arrange them into the quickest and most effecient order.

The pro version comes with built in freeview tv and a booster arial.

Massive screen. about 8 inches. have a look on youtube at truckmate snooper or also tomtom hgv

Well, not needing the tv function I got the S6000 truckmate version and it does the job for me

You get what you pay for what kind of budget have you got? I used a tomtom truck at £400 its not cheap but far better than a snooper

+1 S7000 pro all the way!!

I use a Nav man tourer.
Cost me £99 from halfords, then I activated truck mode which cost me another £69.
All in all its cost me £168 (half the cost of others on the market) and it does its job well.

I bought a tomtomxl from halfords £100,put low bridges on it £free…and it works fine, used 5 days a week for 4 years still going strong…You get what you pay for

I have one of the e bay ones my kids bought it me as a present and does the job for me , even has driving hours on it so advises you been driving so long you need a break, all bridges and restricted roads and you set the machine for veh height weight etc I must admit only use it when near place to get me to road I want other than that look on the map for the initial route , but for less than hundred quid it works !!

i use a tom tom 710 with the truck maps i downloaded from somewhere. used to have copilot truck on an iphone which was excellent however i no longer have an iphone and dont quite have the £99 to buy and download it onto the htc i have now. If you have a smartphone, its worth a look at getting copilot truck or renault trucknav (both pretty much the same, just different names) and trucker timer apps.
