The above is just my opinion, based on nothing more than my own meandering experience,
Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long, in the end it is only with yourself.
remember compliments, forget the insults, if you succeed in doing this tell me how.
Your choices are half chance, but so are everybody else’s.

Be careful who’s advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it, advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and selling it for more than it’s worth.

Happy new year to all

My favourite song you have good taste.

This thread has descended into two people ■■■■■■■■ at each other. Or more accurately one ■■■■■■■■ and the other defending his decisions in what seems from his posts to be a successful business.

Muckspreader you’ve been a OD for about 25 minutes and you seem to have a small business which is very specialised and really not haulage at all more waste management. Whilst Goaty has been in the haulage industry a fair while and has probably done more miles in reverse than you do forwards in a week.

I’m defending no one but surely criticising a bloke’s business based on your own (in my view limited relevant) experience is helpful if it’s worded properly but it’s come across to me as ■■■■■■■■.

You may have some salient points but rather than belittle the bloke in a public forum. A PM would work just as well?

The fact Dan Punchard has said he’d put his money and business’s reputation on Goaty should speak volumes to you. Coupled with the fact that another poster has proven experience of Goaty and has nothing but good words would make me belt up and concentrate on my own business if it was me.

I understand you’ve probably good motives for your input but I personally think it could of been handled much differently without the whole thread turning into another ■■■■■ fest which TNUK seems to have enough of at the moment.

^^^ sorry about the book^^^

I wasn’t ■■■■■■■■, nor do I have a bad word to say about Paul I as stated in my post was merely trying to give an alternative view point on something that had been commented on, I gave my opinion from a buyers point of view not an OD’s point of view.

My intentions were not to cause offence, I tried to PM but it doesn’t happen and to be honest 2 of my posts have disappeared.

Karl86 mine too

Like bloody Eastenders on here!

Goaty:

Dan Punchard:
I’d use Goaty for a job that couldn’t be done in house if it was in his area ,people like him are needed as there’s plenty doing traction only or committed to large firms but not many who are available or who have experienced drivers any more or lorries kitted out for any load, good website certainly shows that you can do it.

In a nutshell. Cheers Dan. If there were more O/Ds and hauliers using the same model I reckon we’d give the big boy’s a headache.

There is more of us than you think,
