Looking for permanent job

As above. Unfortunately indeed and CV Library doesn’t work the other way around meaning you can’t post that you’re looking for a job. I’m in Wolverhampton and would prefer something local to be fair although I can travel. Got 9 months experience at the moment and been doing pretty much everything from flatbed to fridges.
Any business owners here looking for a driver ?

Culina at Ettingshall?

I’ve seen Jay Barber advertising for drivers out of Twycross maybe worth a check out. Fly by Nite at Redditch advertising this week as well.

Good shout, although not exactly local to me. The ones I know is logistics people solutions , BJS and then Culina. BJS pay 4 k more a year than Culina

if bjs are the ones im thinking of i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. Admitedly i havent worked for them they were charged with delivering a home theater system to my address.

very unhelpfull lazy and rude and my feeling is if they are like that to customers/ end user what are they like to the drivers.

Was that the 2 man and a Van delivery service I assume?
Anyway it’s irrelevant because they want 2 yrs experience

No, this is a different one. These do Lidl mostly but could be Stobart still. Stobarts agency is called Logistics People and this other one is called similarly but I think is Corporate Logistics Solutions or something like that [emoji51]

Do you know anything about them? I’m assuming yodel is like tnt/ DX but what about Blake more? Is that fridge work?

Yodel is parcel delivery work to their hubs, clean easy work. I haven’t driven for them but used to go to the hubs and chatting to the drivers and they said it was ok. This was about 4 years ago but I doubt that much have changed.

Blakemore is more of a challenge, it’s delivering to spar shops which is fun getting in and out of the shops + unloading cages. I like that kind of work but as you read on here most drivers not so keen.

So I guess is like farmfoods then. I don’t really mind tipping myself, I just got stuck on a ramp for 3 hrs [emoji23]

Pontential employers browsing the CV library - will be looking at where you’ve worked in the past, if you are over 25 for insurance cheapness, and what kind of work you actually are looking for…

Make sure such detail then - is in that CV you just uploaded!!!

Another hint would be to punch up your “my cb” tab, look at your actual profile - Is it 100% complete? If it is 70% or below - people just “scroll on by”…

Also, bearing in mind that this page is what gets looked at within a brower’s attention span - you need to have something eye-catching in the brief detail you’ve provided…

I put mine up a month ago, and now I’m snowed under with work, and about to leave the job I’ve done for the past year, by the looks of it…

Browsing for your area just a minute ago, I see loads of agencies advertized, with Purestaff and Staffline being the closest to you (Fradley Park)
There’s plenty of work via agency right now BUT can you get on one with 9 months experience? - Try and see, and let us all know here how you got on.
