Why would anyone want a fixed salary job
Unless it’s gixed /set hour every day.

Years ago I had a salaried job for a smallish manafacturing company in Stockport. Delivering there stuff to building sites all.over the country. With nights out.
Job was good at 1st but.over the months they added more andore work onto me.the hours slwoly became longer and at times I was just about earning minimum wage.

Personally I’d settle for an. Hourly paid job like I have no.
If get stuc in traffic etc at least your getting paid.for it.

If you want a set wage /salaried job be better at travis Perkins etc job with set hours

Easier to find what your looking for if you knock tramping on the head.

Parcel Firms / Supermarkets / Builders Merchants are all pretty good at keeping you under 50 hours a week.

Mark Thompson

Fixed salary doesn’t mean fixed hours… it just means same money diluted over more hours resulting in an effective drop in hourly wage.

P.S I work for the shambles… er I mean Kinaxia.

You’ll get £500-600 a week, fixed hours, 10 hour shifts, five day weeks at most supermarket depots. You will have weekend/BH work, but the BH attracts OT rates etc.

Why not just cut your days down if you want less hours , I do 4 days , 58 hrs a week , no need to change your job then
Nb you’ll struggle to get sensible replies other from me & 1/2 others , as they all think a couple of pound on a sat/ sun , 5 days & 1 extra shift ( 2 if they could swing it ) is better than a night with kylie !!!

58hrs in 4 days…Stuff that! 35hrs, 5 nights suits me…40 if there’s plenty of diversions! Paid 48 and working so few makes me feel oh so guilty…not. Admittedly it is mind numbing but the hours suit and the money is good
