Looking for full time work-what websites do you use?

Hello all.
I’m an experienced HGV driver of 15+years with a clean licence.
Due to being a single dad I’m looking for a 4 on 4 off shift and located in Northampton area.
I’m having a real nightmare finding a permanent position as every website is totally saturated by agencies.
Can anyone advise as to what websites you use for a job search.
Thank you

You live around the corner from Rugby, if you can walk and breath you can get a job up there.

Print out a few CV’s and knock on doors, there must be hundreds of operators in your neck of the woods.

Downtons at Raunds are looking for 4on for off…On days.On there website…

indeed, rapido, total jobs, universal jobmatch,to mention a few and the majority of advertised jobs are agency work all promising good things but never delivering, you would be better doing what another OP suggested, put a few CVs into companies, make phone calls like I did and say you are phoning on the offchance of any HGV vacancies, worked for me a few times, agencies just crap on you from a big height,i will never go back to one unless I am really desperate

Print CV’s and covering letters out and post them to haulage firms in the area. Online job sites are a waste of time.

When my girl was little I worked 6 am- 2pm and the Mrs worked 4 pm - 10 pm , mom - fri, worked really well for us , meant we looked after little one which is what we both wanted

I’ve been given the shoulder every time I’ve asked. Two have said they’d call me back once they get the go ahead on a new contract (one of those I really wanted to work for…), and another told me to send my CV in (after a tour of the premises). Still on the agency, working a regular job with predictable hours and nice people (but low pay).
