Looking for company!

Hello

I dont know if I am in the right place or even the right site.

I am looking for a haulier who can supply deliveries on a regular basis from Gloucester GL4 to Latvia Lv-3040 it varies from 2 - 6 trips per month this is full loads at a time and there is no backload from Latvia.

The company will need to supply there own vehicle and trailer and offer a fixed price.
Service is key.

My company is a National builders merchant. I have tried to contact local companies but most have not responded. Any one who can help would be appriciated. my email is james.price@buildbase.co.uk or i will check this page.

If service is key then go British!!

Eric Vick immediately springs to mind and is a well established Gloucestershire haulier… ericvick.co.uk/

Ralph Davies is another well established British haulier in the area… ralphdavies.co.uk/main.shtml

If you want cheap and cheerful (ish) and aren’t to fussed about service etc then there are loads of eastern European companies around now who will do it “cheap”…but you get what you pay for!!

Go on H, go for gold

I can’t help mate, too thick to pass the euro Cpc & not sure I’d want to take a curtain over anyway as it’d get shredded from all the illegals trying to make the return trip.

I’d use an English/Welsh haulier but a flip flop will probably do it for a packet of pork scratchings & a 4 pack of cider!

All I would say is make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing!

Try DSV, mate of mine is a manager in M/Keynes & they ship all over Europe.

Give Richmond, a member on here, a try.

http://www.olbtar.ee and http://www.linford.ee both have around 30-40 trucks running between the baltics and UK every day.

LK Walters in Austria, have owner drivers that cover all of Europe and beyond.
Davies Turner in Avonmouth could point you in the right direction for contacts to help you out.
S and K Haulage in Barry, South Wales maybe ?

Pop into Strensham services M5 you might just find a Latvian driver hanging around who might even speak English. That would be my first port of call.

Philip judge, based in stow on wold , best to speak to his Forman tho, a chap called Nigel smith!!
