The Long Haul Club will meet Saturday 2nd April 2011 in The Pavillion-Guys Thatched Hamlet,Bilsborrow, Nr Preston
7.00pm for a 7.30 start. The speaker will be David Parry vehicle engineer and Haulier who will presenting
AEC-The Glory years and Livestock Haulage. Members and friends are all welcome (Supper will be served)
The AGM of the Long Haul Club will commence at 06.30pm prior to the presentation.

It certainly was a good night,well attended and good company. I took my friend and neighbour
Bob Suttcliffe who like myself is now retired, Bob ran an eight wheeler Seddon Atkinson with
mid mounted Hiab carrying building blocks. Sat at our table Dave Mackie of middle east fame,
Tom Riding of W.J Riding and the legendry John Killingbeck don’t get much better then that now.
