Hi Jim just got back about an hour ago left La Trimouille this morning at 9am and 589 miles later got here about 8.30 via the tunnel!

The unit I converted to a 6X2 was PHO 100P which was ex Brant’s of Tadley here it is just after the conversion before paint!

Paddy drove NAR 608P for me after the late George Rayner who did Scac Trailers out of Portsmouth with it!

Here is how it was when I bought it off Malcolm harrison with a knackered gearbox! (usual problem jumped out of top gear)

Hi All, for anyone who knows a good mate of mine Neil Barfoot (Son of Terry for those of older generation) he would like to invite you all to meet at the Master Builder Pub in West End next Friday (3rd Aug) from 7.30pm to share a drink and wish him well as he faces some tough times ahead as he is starting Chemotherapy on the following Monday. Would be great to get as many of you there as possible!!

Hi all

Just back from the hospital where Sue had to see her Oncologist and who should I happen to meet in the waiting room but Neil and his wife!

Had a chat with them and I must say he did look fairly well, he told me he really appreciated those who met him last Friday night in the Master Builder in West End.

He starts his chemotherapy tomorrow, so best of luck Neil mate.

A big thanks to all the lads that came to the Master builder on friday to have a well wish pint with we me before i start chemo on tuesday,and thanks to all the massages from those who couldn’t make it. It was nice to see some faces i haven’t seen in a while and to know there are so many friends to give me a boost in fighting ERIC ( the cancer ) LOL , NEIL :smiley:

HI jim, didnt regonise that ditch job?? like to know how it happend? think thats a flat bit of road, its 44 pluss yr i was in that area, times change? PUC 474, came after i left, that was x pickfords scammell?? (i think).

my mate with scanner is back off holliday, hope to get a couple of old time lorrys done, ex steam show at lincoln and p\boro, truck show, last firm i worked fore had7 in, just for the crack!! Ile give him time to get over holls!!! trunker
