Hi Jacko this is not the trailer i remember as i think it was home made flat think it had three axles but one only had single wheels, i should think they must have made it up.
I think the driver was Mick Winterbourne any one remember him ? he used to sport a beard. regards Buzzer.
Hi Buzzer I think everyone on here must know Mick Winterbourne he was best man at my ex brother in laws wedding ! Someone did tell me of his where abouts can’t think who it was now but I think he was down in the west country somewhere, someone on here knows !
Regards Jim

, george hollbrook did a job with it i was his steers man later.
Trunker…George Hollbrooks is still alive and kicking, still lives in the same house at Curbrigde that he did when he worked at Hills. He was still driving at well over 70 for Boarhunt Garage until a couple of years ago. I believe his health is faltering a bit now, but as I said, he’s still plodding on…
afternoon all
when and what time is the get together i am taxi service with an andover to upham run all from brighton reckon i could get a back load on this run
cheers lads and lasses
I think there is a backload opportunity there Fergie47 with Frigologisticoetc. Judging by the myriad of trucks carrying straw I saw last weekend coming up, flats, curtainsiders!!! Tippers!!, they are all in on the game, why not fridges!
I noticed that the N10 thru “The Forest” moves on. For the priviledge of using the 3rd lane will incurr a pass thru no less than 2 huge Peages that are under construction…ah well, get the money in first! Plus ca change!

I would suggest about ten am.Then you can stand at the bar and buy all the old decrepit pensioners a drink as they come in.Well, the idea sounds good to me! If you want a back load then I know of at least five of us us who would take advantage of your services.Drop offs ranging from Alton Petersfield Fareham and two on the IOW.Getting paid might be a different matter. We are all expert at jumping out and legging it!
Regards Charlie
traniht has intimated that he has a half bottle of San Pellegrino available for auction. He couldn’t drink the rest so didn’t want to pour it down the drain.
Is that the same bottle he had last year? Regards Charlie
