Morning John.I have a varied selection of wet weather gear for my souped up gofast machine.A pair of moleskin leggings in black.A yellow waterproof ex Tesco top coat borrowed from Nursling.A green souwester and a pair of motorcycle goggles from the 50ties.I look rather fetching as I hurtle down the high street at 5 mph.Regards Charlie

Eyup Charlie,more watter coming in your direction. The Irish Sea is flooding so the Manx government has opened the sluice gates and watter is hurtling down past Wales and Ireland and will shortly be coming up the English Channel. Stay indoors in Alton,maybe best go upstairs though.
Could be some wet feet in t’Juniper Berry in S’oton.

I remember that STV 6 wheel coach conversion (Plaxton Duple?)out and about when I was a nipper. If you went across Mount Pleasant level crossing it was usually parked at the back of the studios. I wonder where that was saved from?

hi tom , these were taken at truckfest southwest , aec 100 rally at newark , i also went to gaydon as did jason dean , and nice to meet jimski there and his fantastic models , might be going to retro show as well
hi gazzer , you are exactly right , tvs had the motor after stv , and was in tvs colours , story goes tvs was going to scrap it and present owner steped in at the right time and saved it , restoring back to how it was when stv had it .

Hi Marriner jnr. " cant fault what he taght me " now that sounds like a compliment, i some times think my boys believe the same about me but i ain’t heard 'em say it yet regards Buzzer.
Now then gentlemen.Thinking caps on.I have just been reading a posting on the “My first continental job”.and the writer mentioned he met the road boss of a company called Siddle Evans from Southampton.Now i`m only 75 but they are strange to me. Any ideas? Regards Charlie
