Shady…I would have thought that being an old drinking buddy, you might not stoop to the level of the
others on here. But hey…now i know who my friends are. They obviously dont come onto Trucknet.

Ignore first part of my previous post then.  Hya Paul.

A couple of Southampton Trucks.

Seen in Avonmouth, might be in use as a shunter.

Hi another from the Scrapbook thread

Merrick Bros of Heywood had a Southampton depot I think they were in Jameson’s yard, their manager was John Kay. real name Kusniar I know that as we were in the same class at school!

I consulted Todd today about the “A” Series ERF shown above sporting the KINGSWOOD headboard. Neither of us can remember “Flacky” having an “A” Series in his pre VOLVO fleet. By coincindence, the truck is orange as some of the hotch potch of pre VOLVO trucks were. Our theory is that this truck was based in or near Kingswood in Bristol.

Is the end nigh? I’ve got a 40ft box on now. Cabbage reckons I’ll be double my size by the end of the week? It’s thursday now!
Does this mean retirement beckons? Answers on a postcard…somewhere in southern Spain!

A few more old Jameson’s wagons.

Hi all, Blimey Pat where did you dig them up from ? nice old pics. Will pop in next Thurs lunch Pat. R Jimski.
