Great pics there Pat,pity the last one,s spoilt by that posing driver.

Seeing that Interoute tilt reminds me of when i used to pull for them out of Poole in the late 70,s with my old
M.E. Marathon for Mick Hayes. Good days then doing Spain and Portugal.
Hi All, hi Pat yeah the first pic has been on before, the second pic is coming down from the Blanc in LJA 597P, third pic is either Chaz Hanham or Steve Cherrett coming down
the Cenis, pic four is some customs place in Milan, pic five i remember this one Pat my brother was with me he took the pic we loaded in that tiny little street, womans tights !

Them days are long gone Richard…No hiding places anymore now that all our lorries are fitted with them Navman satellite
tracking thingies.
.
Normally i would,nt be home during the week, but works a bit quiet for a day or two on the draw bars .( plenty of 40ft conts. though )
Anyway my bloody night heaters packed up again,2nd time in as many months so my nice warm bed makes a pleasant change.
I,m due to get a new ( well 2nd hand ) all singing all dancing 530 MAN 5star tractor unit, only downside is that i,ll be having one of our
Dutch built 5 axle Skele trailers that split in the middle for 2 x 20ft or 40ft containers.
Jim…womens tights eh. Dunno what to say mate,
Hi Mappo yeah womans tights nice light load eh ! funny i thought you might pick up on them, they came in handy to make withdrawals.

Thanks Charlie don’t know where Doug came from, I should have remembered as I bought a German Shepherd (Sable) from him. Is Brian still alive as he had a quite bad stroke years ago if I recall correctly.
Also these two worked for him before they came on for me!!
Regards Pat
Hi All
Brian was still about at Christmas time
I saw Dave at the top of the M3 today (yes I eas out of the county again)
I think Doug Wren worked for Norman Offer as a transport manager but I could be wrong.
Cheers Rich

Jeremy
Flipping hell Jim, i thought i,d seen the last of that pic
I,m saying nothing.
Hi All,
Jim thanks for the picture, we find it useful to print it off and stick it on the front door it frightens off unwelcome visitors.
The only problem is you’ve now got Pat all excited, he’ll be getting his Nana Mouskouri records out again !
Regards Richard
