Mappo Hi Tony do remember you when you were on BI you had an Iveco not
as posh as some of your trucks then you have to slum it sometimes. Remember you were quite keen on fruit machines spent the whole night on a
P&O ferry playing them . I know Kieth I think the last time I saw him he was doing containers a few years ago now , heard is on for Davies I keep an eye out for him when I see one unloading at our place . The photos i posted are the last trip Kieth did for BI the chassis a bit bent , you know the story though.
He was leaving anyway and did not get the sack. The last time I saw you was at Victors I was doing a load of shellfish to Cambados Regards Kev
Hi guys, My late partner, Alex used to be with BI and think you know we worked with PSL for Brintons Carpets in the 90’s. Will add some photo’s on here. Liz
and here she is before renovation, when she was known as The Fast Lady.
hi tony ft
the american truck in lorrains, if you look at the size of the exhaust and the twin air intakes ,it has a gas turbine engine , the front badge is tubine power ,i think this was demo truck , the problem was they were heavy on fuel 4 to5 miles a gallon, a truck in the same colours is in the mack truck historical museam in lehigh valley, in easton pa america , if you go on flickr
type in the search for mack , page 5 the persons name is peachhead, go to
tags click on macktruckhistoricalmuseam, you will see the picture of the mack
with a picture of the gas turbine engine,
regards paul
