Copied this over from the scrap book thread. Would this have been a local Scania agent with a Dorset motor and one of Jamesons as well ?
Any one recognise the workshop
I suspect it could be Unit Commercials in Salisbury as they were the Scanny agents for this area but i should think Pat Duff would know.
Hi I would agree it was probably Unit Commercials but possibly in their old workshop not the one in Churchfields that had seperate bays!
My first Scania a 1972 ‘K’ plate 110 sleeper was bought in 1978 so this pic way before any of my dealings with Ian Andrews’ Unit Commercials.
If I could get hold of Dave Coombes he would be able to tell us as he worked for them at that time.
hi all , as you are talking about unit commercials , saw this on ebay , crazy money ( or is it if you want one nowadays ) have a good look at all of the photos ! .

No John not jetlag!
For some reason we have lost our broadband at home and on speaking with BT they have tested the line and said the problem is in the house!!! If they send an engineer and the fault is in the house it will cost £150 for the engineer!!! I have not had a chance to look at it yet.
Also I have had to do some work for a change so was out in the truck yesterday morning from 5am till noon then had to rush home to take Sue to see the oncologist at the general for 2pm.
As Terry is off on holiday next week looks like I will be out all week on deliveries!!
Three of Jacques who he worked for when he was younger oh i mean much younger him and Dave Goddard who some will know was in destination Doha for Astran
Now thats an early pic of Davies truck as the name on the door was twin split which was later changed to Axle which has stuck to this day, regards Buzzer.
