mappo:
I,ll have you know Buzzer, that as a school lad i used to sing in the
church choir as well as being a campanologist…
Well i think thats what it was called anyway.
Dunno where i went wrong after that.
Mappo the only bells you ever rung was attached to a one armed bandit.
John,
I always thought he was a bit camp in those shorts !
I surpose you are right there Richard, poor old Mappo probabley thought campanology was to do with tents and ( camp ) fires and the like, thats where those black short shorts and socks and sandles came into the picture.

Mappo thought campanology was a place near Modena where customs was…
Never there long enough at Campogalliano, in, revision, T2 and out. We all did that John, you know, the “Charge of the Blue and Light Blue Brigade” especially if you were to get to Woolwich ontime!
These were post Woolwich days…more Cheltenham way…
Gazza…I think i,ve still got some memorabilia from the Greek ferries
a Superfast loyalty card for discounted grub and possibly some old tickets
from Ventouris and Anek lines…Will have a look at the weekend if i have time.
Loaded in Paisely today and went over the Kingston flyover.
Wasn,t a flying visit though thankfully.
Hi mate my Dad worked for Crisps transport in Southampton in the 70s his name was Bob Mcleish he also worked for Henry Smithers do you remember him many thanks Bobs son Mark Mcleish
Hi Pat, sounds like you are havin a good time. I remember helping to sheet a R.K.Crisp motor in Philco’s in Bergamo, for a start it was a step frame trailer and he had five sheets all different sizes and most with holes in as they used to take out variouse machinery which inflicted the damage, we used to put cardboard where the holes were. usually there were several trucks loading there for skillbeech and if there was any ropeing and sheeting everybody mucked in and from what i remember a good job was made of it, i used to have a pic of that load but cant find at the moment.See you soon Buzzer.

This place you mean Horry ■■?
One and the same Tone. None of the lads park there any more as I have been told over the years like many places, standards have slipped well below par. Also, like most places these days closed at the weekend. The only place the boys stop over regular still from yesteryear is Cluses.
