I have to inform you today of the sad passing of Geoff “Spit” Elder.
Genially known as Spit.
A great unforgettable character of the job.
Suffering from COVID, he ended up in hospital, intensive care, in a situation that could not be overcome by the medical staff.
His life support was tuned off, he passed hours afterwards.
My condolences to his family.
He will live on in our memories as so many have previously.
