Long Departed Southampton Hauliers (Part 1)

Can We add Elite Transport to the list of long departed Southampton Hauliers, I used to work for the Manchester head office depot and would regularly nightout in the Toton depot and can I say the Southampton drivers who worked for Elite who fetched from all parts of the south coast from as far a field as Hasting to Cornwall and used to arrive at work Sunday night and go home Friday night or even Saturday morning. Were the bbiggest buntch of no good lazy good for nothings, miserable, back stabbing ■■■■■■■■■ I have ever had the misfortune to meet…! :stuck_out_tongue:

Look Backload. Don’t beat about the bush. Why don’t you tell how it is!?

Buzzer:
The question being is Alton Towers still standing, they say no news is good news but im’e not sure having heard nothing since Monday night so Charlieone if you have survived it would be nice to here your ok and while your at it have you done QC’ on the delivery, hopefully here from you soon Buzzer.

So sorry for the delay in responding John. I have been in serious agony. Lying on my front having skin grafts to my at posterior. I am now restored to the bosom of my family. Those shallots are the finest I have ever tasted. One bottle has gone already as you have read. Where to I’m not sure but Tim Peake spotted a UFO doing about 22000 mph past the space station. I have been in contact wit the Wellow Wonder who thinks we have a good case. He advises me to sue everyone. Except Mrs M because she is such a nice girl.Further details to follow. Regards Charlie   .

No, we can’t add Elite Transport to the list of ‘Long departed Southampton Hauliers’. First of all Totton is a town in its own right so is not therefore, Southampton. May I also add that Elite Transport was never a Southampton Company. Furthermore
you emphasized that their drivers were from as far afield as from Hastings to Cornwall and a lazy load of ‘backstabbers’.
I hope that you are not insinuating that is the case with ‘Southampton Drivers’ because as a former employer I can verify that this is not the case and so can many of my colleagues I am sure. Come to think of it you are not from Southampton yourself
so perhaps you have got your name wrong and it should read ‘Backstabber’ and not backload !!!

Elite Transport used to have Southampton wrote on the cab and did carry containers off Southampton Quay. I will accept they were not a Southampton company they were owned by Dave White and Gary Bethel from Manchester, Gary Bethel coned Dave White out of his lottery win and when the money ran out sold the lot to Debens and bust them as well.

Sorry to of hurt your feeling, typical Southampton namby pamby…! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello nipper I can read you like a book. You are a ■■■■ taker. Just waiting for someone to bite. And it worked eh. I bet that you are a really nice guy. Although you talk funny. Regards Charlie

Reckon “backload” is or must be related to “carryfast” he always gets people to bite but think he may be a bit more eloquent, Buzzer.

Buzzer. I am not going to bite at backsliders catty remarks. As you are aware we Hampshire gentleman do not retaliate.

backsplice,

I’ve just read all your posts you’ve put on in the past on Trucknet and it would appear you have a chip on your shoulder, and if you think us Southampton lads are namby pambys you are mistaken, and if I ever see you in “The Grapes” I’ll knock it off with my handbag. :unamused:

Richard

Richard can you explain to a simpleton just what a back loader is cos im’e worried and confused now if it’s what I think it is, could end up a messy job if im’e right JD.

Lol!

Hello Nobby.

Sad to hear about Bob. I always liked, got on with, and respected him. A good transport manager, if you had a problem and you were right and didn’t lie to him, he’d stick up and fight your corner for you, try and ■■■■■■■■ him and you got a bollocking…he sacked me two or three times, but I was always “re-instated” a few hours later !!..one of the old school managers, who’d been there and done it, said said it how it was…may he R.I.P.

Have sent you a pm

Alan Jones, there’s a name from the past, if its the same Alan that worked for Bakers and Smith of Maddiston in the late '60’s early '70’s then I haven’t seen him in 40 odd years, there’s a few stories to tell there…R.I.P.

Before we fall, Buzzer.
