See you soon

Very palatial surroundings Richard.
Is that " In Chambers " or in your front room?
Were Gaz iow and Winky separated at Birth?
Mappo. I recall doing a trip for Mick Hayes to Portugal , shipping from Poole. I ran part of the way with Colin Tiller in that motor. What happened to him? I think he was living in Spain in the eighties…?
Oh and whose the one on the left in first pic with the rather splendid pony tail?
I might suggest that you grow one. It would give you a rakish air in court… You might then get some celebrity divorce cases.
Just a thought.
Hi Balders, wow there,s a name from the past, Colin Tiller…dont know what happened to him Stu…
I,m pretty sure that Keith stayed in touch with him for a long time…
Incidentally me and Colin were in the same class at school…Used to have an old school photo
somewhere, but lets not go down that road…lol
Mappo Mrs D thinks there was a either Clive or Leonard Tiller and they had a sister Ramona and think it was Leonard who was to do with transport and they lived at Oak Hill in Bursledon or is she barking up the wrong tree and are they the wrong family Buzzer.
Hi Buzzer, don’t think it’s the same family…though having said that I didn’t know too much about Colin’s family…As I said I went to school with him in Fareham late 50,s early 60,s then bumped into him again as a driver…I haven’t seen or heard of him for about 30 plus years…til a Balders mentioned him…
I
Yes… I think on this occasion Mrs D is wrong. So " nil point " Gill.
I’m sure he’s a Fareham lad, although I know little about him. I only bumped into him twice in all my years of driving and then only on for Mick Hayes, not sure who else he drove for?
He did come into my newsagents once , back in 2001. I recognised him but no conversation from him…
A bit of a mystery man
Tone…
We need to see this photo!!
A good school you went to.
I heard it was approved…

Hi Stu,
“If you have had an accident at work” I may be able to get you compensation, just let me have a cheque (leave it blank) and I’ll see what I can do,I feel a claim coming on. I’m afraid poor old Bert Hayes (R.I.P.)a lovely chap, is no longer with us.
I’m not so sure about Mick & Peter, did my first continental trip as a subby for them, hanging meat to Germany changeover with a big German fella called Willie.
To go back to the Christmas party the guy with the pony tail was Jimmy Greaves,no not the footballer, he went to work for Brandon Hire when he left.
I’ll try and find some more pics of a person you will know.
Regards
Richard
Shame on you Richard. Lowering yourself to " Ambulance Chasing "… As I’ve said. You should be defending the great and good of this country.
I notice you ignored my Pony Tail suggestion, but I’m sure you’ll be surreptitiously growing one … DONT be tempted to reach for the hair dye. Leave that to Bruno and Craig on " Strictly ". Although you might want to effect a few more theatrical gestures whilst giving your closing address and you could learn from them…
Dear Old Bert, yes , a very nice man.
Mick died a good while back now, he had throat cancer ( a big one for the B&H ) although recovered from that , but I think it came back to haunt him.
Not sure about Peter, maybe Mappo will know.
I’ll look forward to the pictures!
Cheers old thing.
Hi Stu, yes i have to agree with you and Richard, Bert was a real gentleman…
Mick was the likeable rogue of the family as i,m sure you,ll remember…as well as being a heavy smoker
he certainly liked a drink as well…as a lot of us did at the time…as you say, sadly no longer with us…
I think its a known fact that i drove that ex Middle East Marathon for Mick, but for some reason, i cannot remember,
we had a fall out, but i carried on working for Peter and Shirley.
I dont know if Peter is still with us…
Mappo the wrong Tiller family but I think Leonard Tiller worked for Inter Route aka F.C.Bennett in an office capacity not sure if in Southampton or maybe Poole some one on here will remember for sure, JD.
Balders ive seen that intrepid Richard QC in action on a Saturday night, he waits outside the Ambulance station and when one pops out on the hurry up he is ready on his roller skates with a home made tow rope which consists of platted tilt bungies which he hooks on the bumper and away they go, this is how he gets a lot of his clients. The bungies give and take allowing for a smooth pull and he has a pillow strapped round his waste in case of a sharp stop, he does not really need the pillow nowadays as he does have a bit of natural cover but he plays safe.
Ha!!
Yep I think you’re right about Len Tiller and Interroute…
And he was Interoute ,Poole
Balders & John,
Thank you both for your advice regarding my career moves, and yes John I did see you on Saturday night outside the General Hospital,in your nurses outfit up to your old tricks again, showing the young nurses your pickled onions.
Stu here is another Christmas party pic,who is the young fresh faced Mancunian in the bottom right hand corner ?
Regarding Len Tiller I seem to remember him having his own business with an office on an industrial estate off Wallisdown Road Bournemouth,I may be wrong.
Regards
Richard
HI Rich
That’s the ever youthful Mr Johnson
Cheers
Rich
Indeed Tribsa!
Haven’t seen him in over 20 years. I imagine , like all of us , he’s " filled out " a bit.
Unlike me of course.
I still maintain a constant 70.8 kilos as per the 1970’s and have long fair hair…
Is that Paul sitting next to Steve?
Hi Rich,
Well spotted that’s the man.
Stu yes that’s Paul with Dave Hooper ex Robert Armstrong alongside.
Regards
Richard
