Only just came across the photo because someone who knows an uncle of mine spotted it on ebay and bought it! I’ve only had a print off my uncles pc so far but am hoping to get hold of the original so I can scan a better quality image. Have started a family hunt now to see if we can get any more old photos, one of my relatives must have something somewhere!

As promised ive gone through my grandads photos the only lorry that i can come across with the OOW reg is this one OOW 354G again it was taken in Concorezzo Italy with my grandad stood in front.

Hi ,Jacko thats the one we had 180 Gardener 6 speed david Brown box ,twin 65 gal fuel tanks ,would only do abount 52 Mph but pulled quite well ,it did us proud thanks for that keep the photos comming ,yours Barry

Hi All, I think i have now read through most of the 227 pages on this thread and so decided to register and add a little of my nostalgia. (must be getting old!)

My first HGV job was in Eastleigh for Square Grip

this was my F7

I then went to work for the Clapcotts in Nutsey Lane.

mine on the right.

and then onto Wincanton transport contracting to Esso

and the onto Linkman tankers part of the TDG.

I am busy trying to find more pictures of years gone by.
