Is the truckstop still open on a1 excelby by londonderry was told it was shut due to the new road layout on a1 aint been up that way for a long time looking to park up there
Londonderry is still open £8 iirc to park or u can park at leeming bar £10 to park an u get a £5 meal voucher
yeah still open not as busy as once was but still good place to stay morris not there any more like 
Its still open but you have to get to off the A61 ripon sliproad if you are coming north bound and follow the old road up to it…there are new signposts up the help.

I was told the other day that it is closing in december.
been in today 4/11/11 they have signs up in londonderrry lodge that as from 01/12/11 they will be shutting there doors for good due to the upgrade of the A1 they say there is a drop in numbers of drivers using the facillity
