Stay on A1, the A503 left onto St Pancras Way, left onto Baker Drive. There are no low bridges on this route. Only low bridge is in Camden but you turn left onto st Pancras way to avoid it. There is a Travis Perkins down st Pancras way which have artics in.
Can’t help you, but wish I’d asked on here before headed off the North Cicular to a collection near Hornsey station last week. I bombed down the a1000 to do a left down Fortis Green Road. As I pulled up at the junction thought to myself ■■■■ this is gonna be tight and it was - trailer was a fraction from taking out the traffic light. I won’t ever being going that way again.
Follow A1 south to Archway gyratory (at bottom of a hill) Take A 400 south Junction rd becomes Fortress rd becomes Kentish Town rd should be signed Tufnell Park and Camden. After Tufnell Park as you approach Camden there will be a fork to the left A5202 immediately followed by another left fork because the road starts a one way. ie St Pancras rd is southbound only. The railway bridge is listed as 15’ in AA atlas. Barker drive is the first left after the bridge.
Do NOT turn either way onto Camely street at the end of Barker rd when tipped because there is a 13’6" bridge at the bottom of the rd one way and 13’3" the other way. There are many bridges in the immediate area of Camden but it appears that none on the MAIN rds will worry you.
To return north ask at the delivery point, but you should be able to exit via Georgiana st, 1st right after Barker drive and then 1st right again A5202 royal college st. This will take you back to Archway. Otherwise continue south along st Pancras way and you should see a sign for A5202 North Tufnell Park this will be a sharp right and right again.
If you go further south and cross the A501 Euston rd you will enter the congestion charge zone.
If you miss your turn at Archway do not worry continue on A1 to the Nag’s head and follow refmoss’ A503 instructions.
Cav
To get back out of delivery point , is this the best way?
Back out to St Pancras way
1st right on to Georgina Street
Right on to royal college Street
Right on to a503 camden road
Left on to A1
Sorry finlays dad power cut last night. As for the return north I would ask, but it is only a fairly short walk (just over the canal) to go and have a look for yourself to see what Georgiana st looks like and how sharp the turns are. The turn onto royal college street is the tighter. After that you are back on main rd.
Yard is very tight so a bit of a blind side reverse off the Street was required
Coming back out I opted for Georgina Street after having a quick look on foot,
Georgina Street was fine but the right turn onto royal college Street was not nice at all.
