London Lorry Control, starting overnight from within

Hi, I have to park overnight on site on a road affected by london lorry control. I just thought I’d check that I can’t exit before 7? Thanks!

When are the roads ‘restricted’?
Monday - Friday: 9pm - 7am (including Saturday morning).
Saturday: 1pm - 7am Monday morning.

I see the latest Guide for the lorry control on amazon is £50.
This should be free for drivers, or at least available at a more reasonable price.

If you are not familiar with the routes it is very easy to go off track.

Got to agree with the above post. If a council etc wants to impose bans it should be up to them to supply information.

London Lorry Routes

This is what I use. It is not very detailed.
I recently used the A2022 and then the A237 to cut across from the A217 to head towards Croydon rather than going all the way down the A217 to the M25 and then back up
the A23.

On the above map this is a valid route.
There are several 18t limit signs, except for permit holders between the hours of 21:00 and 07:00 on the A2022.

I contacted the Lorry control office about this and apparently the route is valid.
It is so easy to flout the rules.

I have driven in and out of Southall when i shouldn’t have, used roads that i probably shouldn’t have done, but as at the time it had been several years since i last had frequented that area, and had no clue about what parts of London were covered by this nonsense i think you would be unlucky in some areas to get caught, but it is a pain if you have to do much in London

It is no problem when you know the route you are doing. when you get a new one, it is so easy to go off route. Then you are sweating for a few weeks wondering if an official has spotted you.
I am trying very hard to stick to the routes but until you have done it once it is so easy to go of course.
Sat navs have no clue about where to go. Using them more than likely get you into illegal route territory.
