Lockdown 3

Juddian:
Interestingly, my favourite troll has stopped taking the mickey out of me and my weird views recently, has he got bored, matured, or come to the realisation that fings really ain’t kosher out there

I’m 50/50…

Whether or not that refers to myself or not but (pretty sure it’s not me), regardless I’ll entertain the notion.

I find the term troll a bit excessive. We disagree on ideologies and theories but, that shouldn’t make us angry rivals. I have a great deal of respect for you and your vast experience in transport. If I ever need to know how many Land Rovers I can get onto a double deck transporter, you’d be the first person I’d come to for advice. Hopefully, if you ever want to know the beast way to load 25 pallets of cherries in a reefer, I’d be happy to help.

However, we are poles apart when it comes to politics and conspiracy theories. You constantly point out how bad this government is. I’ll balance that by saying you also agree that the opposition wouldn’t fare much better but, you never offer the alternative. The alternative is anarchists storming the Capitol building crying ‘freeedumb’ and then looking for politicians to hang whilst a Popeyes Chicken concession stand appears next to a makeshift gallows. Tell me where my cross should go at the next general election, list me the parties that would be faring any better in this ■■■■ show than the present one is doing.

Anyone who uses Bitchute as one of their sources has to believe in the Qult. The problem that believers like yourself have is, the ability to extract yourself once you’re in. If you turn around now and say ‘yeh, the is earth is round and 5G is safe and Bill Gates isn’t going to be floating around my bladder if I get vaccinated’, you have to admit to yourself and others that you’ve been a bit of a muppet by believing these ridiculous fantasies in the first place. But I’d still buy you a pint.

I have no intention of playing ‘my dad’s bigger than your dad’ on the internet with you. It becomes clear that internet forums are unable to reconcile people that are galaxies apart in their views. I have my opinions and you have yours. Nothing I can ever type here will convince you that you’re miles away from the road your looking for.

I don’t like all the political debate that goes on here and I rarely participate. I feel the majority of these threads should be confined to Bullys and the important business of changing bulbs on the new Volvo along with, should I buy a cool box or a proper fridge should be kept in focus. Isn’t that what a truck drivers forum is about?

I’m hearing from my Portuguese friends that it’s highly likely that Portugal will be going back into a major full lockdown next week, and having been following the infection figures for several places the numbers are looking grim. For an example of only one place on the Algarve, Faro town has had numbers of new case jump dramatically from 10’s per day to 60,70,80+ facebook.com/11858171152581 … 64199/?d=n
Other towns around faro, Albufeira, Loule, Taviera etc are having similar increases in numbers

Yourhavingalarf.

who should you put your cross against? at one time it might have been UKIP or one the nationalist parties whom one can never mention, because they alone stood against the uniparty that is the LIBLABCON.

Who should one vote for now? none of the buggers is my suggestion, its all over and we, the working classes of Britain lost and so has the country itself, we had the chance at one time to stop things but the narrative has been strong and more insistent for many years now and people are too lazy that to do anything more than watch the idiot propaganda box in the corner.
Note, wasn’t that long ago i twigged why they call them programs :bulb:
Labour and tory are tied at the hip, there is no opposition worthy of the name any more, and any party that looks like it might be a threat to the status quo will be destroyed, if they can’t get the mainstream media to do it for them the farage trojan horse will do it from within.
I don’t know where we go from here, never claimed to have answers to that and quite why it still bothers me i don’t know, possibly because being half Irish i can see what happens when unjust meets desperation and where it can lead.

The problem with the internet and discussions is that people often don’t offer an argument or an alternative view, instead they ridicule insult or poke fun at someone they disagree with, CF has one such poster at the moment who makes constant unfunny playground bully-like quips, maybe the poster thinks its amusing.

You’ve mentioned conspiracy theories, that’s one of many terms specifically invented to push public opinion one way, theirs, by ridiculing they immediately scare off a large percentage of otherwise neutral people because they fear being singled out for the same tag, so go along with the majority yah-booing and finger pointing at the alleged miscreant, thankful it wasn’t them and so glad they held back before agreeing in case they too were labelled.
In previous times they’d go along and watch some poor sod being publicly tortured and killed, make a day out of it take the kids along and cheer, in other countries even today they have to cheer loudly enough for the leaders or suffer, the resurrected cheering for the state health system is just the tip of where this iceberg might be heading in this country.
Cancel culture is one their main weapons they use these days and effective it is too.

Those anarchists in Capitol Hill were pretty bloody soft weren’t they, a bunch of hairly arsed overweight lorry drivers could have put up a better show than that.
Funny how awful it all is now, from the mouths of the same people who have for months been egging on violent thugs and looters as they looted and laid waste to buildings and the livelihoods of thousands of ordinary people.
There’s miles more to the US situation than meets the eye, you only have to look how quickly the silencing of dissent against the narrative is being completed by half a dozen billionaires who swap between publisher and platform as it suits them, egged on by the dems and the many cucks in the GOP, themselves too stupid to see that what they call for now might actually bite them in the arse along the way.
Freedom of speech is lost in Britain, it will never come back, it is about to suffer the same fate in the USA, the first of many amendments the new rulers intend to destroy.

Why pick on Bitchute, YT is censoring wrong think, so where else are those who refuse to bend the knee supposed to go to get their voices heard when all of the powerful platforms are censoring views not of the narrative of the day.
Even Vernon Coleman has had to transfer over to BrandNewTube because YT are deleting his videos questioning the covid/vaccine response.

Talking of the vaccine, nothing ridiculous in not trusting a drug that hasn’t been long term tested and is an entirely new method of vaccination anyway, using the public as guinea pigs, all brought to production in 1/10 the normal timeframe.

A decent discussion, and that’s just how it should be, thankyou.

The development behind the new type of vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna) has been going on for years. Like way before Covid. So its not entirely new. The Oxford one is using old money of you like so that shouldn’t be in question.

The time to develop is an interesting one. You have all the scientists globally looking at different bits and bobs and of a sudden something comes along where they almost all at the same time start to look at the same thing. I’m fairly certain that a gang of ten will unload a container quicker than a gang of one or two to give it a parallel.

Do I know about long term effects? By the time I get mine we’ll know more but I’m heartened by the fact that so far there’s been no ransacking of Apple stores… yet

This Lewis fella was nobodies fool, apparently he knew a bit (copied and pasted)

Spookily, this was written nearly 70 years ago but could have been written today:

′′One young devil asked the old man: “How did you manage to bring so many souls to hell?” The old devil answered: “I instilled fear in them!” Answers the youngster: “Great job! And what were they afraid of? Wars? Hunger?” Answers the man: “No, they were afraid of the disease!” For this youngster: “Does this mean they didn’t get sick? Are they not dead? There was no rescue for them?”
The old man answered: “but no . . . they got sick, died, and the rescue was there.” The young devil, surprised, answered: “Then I don’t understand■■?” The old man answered: "You know they believed the only thing they have to keep at any cost is their lives. They stopped hugging, greeting each other. They’ve moved away from each other. They gave up all social contacts and everything that was human! Later they ran out of money, lost their jobs, but that was their choice because they were afraid for their lives, that’s why they quit their jobs without even having bread. They believed blindly everything they heard and read in the papers. They gave up their freedoms, they didn’t leave their own homes literally anywhere. They stopped visiting family and friends. The world turned into such a concentration camp without forcing them into captivity. They accepted everything!!! Just to live at least one more miserable day . . . And so living, they died every day!!! And that’s how it was very easy for me to take their miserable souls to hell… ′′

C.S. Lewis - ′′ Old Devil’s Letters To Young ′′ 1942

It must be busy as even though I’m off until next mon I’ve had shifts put on up until March , and I guess there a general txt sent to all drivers saying depot neeeds drivers all week / week ends (week ends does suprise me as didn’t used to be a lot of work about in years gone by jan - March .
Only watched a1 from my window as not been out much , but seems quieter , & normally a accident / 2 a week in Grantham journal , but nothing so kind of confirms that .

I agree Juddian reference the US situation. The left saying trump incited the capitol situation, when in his speech he clearly said to March on the capitol and let your voices be heard IN PEACE. A few months ago the left were inciting violence, saying protests aren’t meant to he peaceful, and the newly elected Vice President even created gofundme to bail out arrested violent rioters and looters. Some of them even spoke of wanting trump assassinated. AOC in particular is a particularly nasty violent little trout who actually incited a bombing of an ICE center and refused point blank to condemn it. The fact is it’s ok for them to do it, but trump and the right haven’t done anywhere near as bad (the capital situation was mostly non violent aside from one of the protestors being shot by police) and they’re called all sorts and trump is impeached and deplatformed.

The left have power in the house, senate and soon the White House, and what do they do? The party of inclusion? Persecute 74 million people. It’s going to get very very ugly over there in the weeks and months to come, but the thing I find the most disgusting is the blatant double standards and hypocrisy. Look into what the democrats were saying during the BLM antifa protests and watch trumps speech if you can find it, and you’ll clearly see he said go to the capitol in peace.

Edit, and I also won’t be the least bit surprised to find in future that antifa “activists” were there as agitators. There’s a video of someone in a balaclava smashing a window of the capitol until a maga supporter tackles him down whilst there’s people shouting that he’s antifa. Also a BLM activist was recently arrested as part of the capitol protest.
