My first phone calls would be to Freddie Edmundson, Allied Pickfords and Brittania.

Loading bays shouldn’t be a problem, there are lots of low ride and step frame trailers used which are all at least a foot lower than our standard trailers.

Their depot in Italy used to be in the center of Novara next to the old customs place. Spent many a weekend parked outside their depot waiting to clear customs

I wouldn’t bother with Pickfords, they have most of their trucks come home empty because they can’t fill them. You need to look at companies that do things like shoes, or clothes, try alpiworld.com/ they are always looking for high volume hard sided trucks out of Italy, Spain and Portugal (maybe other places as well)

Thanks all.

alot of removal compaines run back empty but if we can earn a bit extra all helps.

That would be the link I posted just a couple of posts above this one… They have offices in the UK as well :grimacing:
We used to get loads of work from them in Italy, Spain and Portugal, but I think they have places all over Europe, they paid fairly well and always on time, we even managed to get cash advances from them in Prato before now!
