A friend of mine set up an agency,
He’s the only driver,
He’s the managing director.
He only set it up to give himself a good hourly rate, and the freadom to say no.
However, He’s been inundated with work from Scotland to the south coast. There is also continental work.

He won’t employ you like a propper agency, He will just pass on the contact and you sort out your own tax etc.
